This bed spread is really beautiful. I washed it on delicate and line dried. The last one not from this seller had all the stitching pull out during the first wash. This one did well and has added piping around the edge for a nice finish.Update: with second delicate wash some of the stitching is pulled.

I wanted something not too brightly coloured so went for this one, more earthy. The colours are perfectly toned, it's well made and looks classy. It's very light weight, which is what I wanted. It did take a little longer to arrive than I hoped but that wasn't the seller's fault. I absolutely love it and can highly recommend this seller.

Beautiful quilt, seems to be well made. Wash by itself, on a gentle cycle, cold water, and line dry. Colors are vibrant, looks great! Love all the different shades of green!!

This quilt was a lovely surprise, silky, vibrant colors! If you know this style of quilting, parallel lines of embroidery floss are wide-stitched by hand down the length of the quilt, securing the patchwork front to the backing. Unfortunately, in places where the floss was changed, the strings were not knotted together, leaving several tag ends sticking up on the front face of the quilt. It's likely to fall apart during washing. With this quilt, there is no batting (that fluffy blanket-like stuff between the top patchwork layer and bottom deck). Lacking batting, the quilt is not designed for warmth. In construction, batting typically eases the buckling caused by the quilting, but here, there's lots of scrunching and creasing. It does not appear that the patch fabrics, bottom decking and embroidery floss are made from the same type of fiber, so it's likely that everything will react to water, shrinking and ironing in a different way. I'd recommend this quilt because of its beauty, but only for light duty and as a decor accessory.
