This worked fine to enroll in Windows Hello, but it flexes a bunch in the USB port, and just feels flimsy. My use case is for a desktop PC anyway, so I bought an external Verifi P2000 unit that feels way more solid.

Pros:-Works with Windows Hello and all Windows applications that support authentication through Windows Hello.- Stores passkeys on the device and can be used for passwordless login for FIDO2 compliant services or as a 2FA device for U2F services- Has LED indicator to prompt for biometric authentication (blue light) and show positive/negative match (green/red light)Cons:- Fingerprint registration is bad. The sensor is too small for a full fingerprint and this results in the registration that only works with part of the finger. Put a finger on the device at slightly different angle and it is no go. This results in very frustrating experience as many times I need 3 or 4 attempts to pass the biometric authentication- Software support is almost non-existent. The key comes with no documentation and manual that you have to find on the Korean site is rudimentary and focuses mostly on Windows Hello authentication and little else. You have to go to Korean site and find a software that supports this key and then figure out how it works. I am still unable to force biometric authentication for passwordless login. Right now it only works as a dumb FIDO2 key that does not prompt for biometrics to login to a service. For the price of this device, the hustle of trying to configure it and use reliably is not worth it.- Key is too delicate to carry with you on a keychain. It comes with no cover or other protection and even though manufacturer states that it is ‘tough’ it does not look the part. The key flexes easily in hands, the fingerprint sensor is completely exposed and would be covered in scratches in no time. This key is unique in the industry due to combination of Windows Hello biometrics and FIDO2 support. On paper it was exactly what I was looking for to combine my PC and Cloud services authentication into a single device. Unfortunately, the support or the documentation for the device is not up to standards to sell it to US market and ruggedness of the key is very questionable to use it as a carry on. Only for hardcore enthusiasts.

This is unique among security keys in that it can do FIDO2 biometric (so you can use a passkey stored on the device without inputting your alphanumeric PIN) and it allows Windows Hello login with a fingerprint. It does both. There are a few glitches.-Passkey works great - you have to set up a PIN first, but it accepts a fingerprint to authenticate for using the passkey and only prompts for the PIN when examining stored credentials or otherwise maintaining the key through software-Fingerprint enrollment through chrome on a chromebook worked great. It stores three fingerprints only. I did not try doing fingerprint enrollment through windows but I suspect it's fine.-Windows hello didn't work until I installed their key manager software. Then it did work, but the catch is that it doesn't seem to authenticate using the stored print. You have to enroll fingerprints in windows hello again. I'm not sure if it's doing match-on-key here, which I was hoping for.-It enumerates as "Windows Hello key"(Goldengate G311) under biometrics in device manager.-The passkey does not seem to work as a U2F second factor for login to a google account with password. When I configured a resident credential / store-on-key passkey, I could do a passwordless login, but using it as the second factor for password login is glitchy. Simply presenting it at the U2F prompt resulted in an error that the security key wasn't recognized. Going to "try another way" and "use your passkey" did work. This is not the behavior I've observed for FIDO2 resident credentials on a yubikey.-Enrollment as U2F credential worked fine on multiple sites-Examining stored credentials with their key manager program on windows or the native chromeos functionality works fine. Again, PIN entry is required.-Yubikey Manager (gui) or ykman (cli) do not see the device - not expected but worth a shot
