Got these for my kid's birthday party favors. I like that it using the kid's mind to build and not a junky cheap toy that is normally given as favors that will eventually be thrown away. Each small bag comes with instructions for the kids to build their animal.

We are not allowed to use and food prizes at school so this was a GREAT alternative for 4th graders. These prizes were the first to go and the kids immediately started working on them. Would use these again!

My kids love using building blocks, and this set is wonderful. Each animal is individually bagged with its instructions, which makes it so easy to open and build. The little animals they build are the perfect size for a small fidget. My kids opened and built a few of the animals each, and we had no problems with any missing pieces, which is a huge win. I’m also adding a bunch of them to our family’s “treasure box” for the kids to earn and get as a reward. Definitely worth the price!

My little guy's birthday is February 15th, so we are always doing double duty with both Valentine's and birthday treats at school each year, plus a party on the weekend. I like something the kids can play with instead of only candy or snacks. And rather than a bunch of cheap toys, I prefer a few nicer items. (Less is more!) This year he is 7, and Legos are his big thing. These little buildable critters are a perfect addition to the goody bags. They are cute, colorful and simple to assemble. There are only 20 in this set, one short of what he needs for his classmates, so I will either have to add one from another set, or save these for his party bags. I know the kids are going to love them, and I think parents will be happy not to get a bunch of junk that winds up on the floor by nightfall.

I am a 3rd grade teacher and I got these for my classroom treasure box. The kids LOVED them. They have definitely been a classroom favorite. Most students found them fun and easy to do. There are a variety of different colored creatures in this set which the kids really enjoyed. The students put them together by themselves. They have kept them on their desks and most have stayed put together without any pieces falling off. They are definitely small, but they really are adorable and the kids absolutely love them. I highly recommend these.

This is brilliant. Each of these little ocean themes figure builds comes in its own plastic bag with instructions and all the pieces you need. Perfect for party favours or little gifts. Could be great for a calendar as well although you need four more! Very impressed and happy to recommend. As a massive Lego fan, I think these are brilliant.

For almost a year now, I've been using little brick sets like this to keep kids occupied and entertained at the events I cater and host, and they work great. In the past, I've used coloring books and various kinds of toys, and most kids don't seem to stay occupied with those for very long, probably because that's what they get at home. Little brick sets like this give them something different to do, and they seem to stay entertained for a lot longer, which gives the adults a bit of a break and some time to mingle with the other adults. That definitely improves the guest experience at my events, both for the kids and the adults. These little sets are super easy to build, maybe about 5 minutes for an adult and 10-15 for a kid, depending on age and skill. Most kids 7+ or so can build one with little or no assistance. And once it's built, they have a fun, cute, colorful little toy that they can use to play with the other kids. If you couple this with some sort of fun, interactive tablecloth on the activity table, the kids tend to stay occupied for quite a while. And even if you're not doing events commercially, these are so affordable, at just about a buck each, that they're perfect for family cookouts and other gatherings too. Pretty much any time you want to give the kids something fun and easy to do, these are perfect. I'll be honest, I kind of like them too, and I haven't been a kid for a very long time. Overall, these are a great product at a great price. You should get some.

If you’re looking for a super unique addition to party bags which the little ones are bound to love then this could certainly be a fantastic idea. There’s a lot of unique animal designs which are all individually wrapped with colour instructions too, so make for fantastic additions to celebration bags or party favours. The blocks themselves vary in size and length and aren’t the best quality when directly compared to the big name brands but I found nothing really to be concerned of personally in terms of build quality.

Remember these are for kids aged 3+ due to the small parts. It's a nice animal set ypu put together like building blocks etc.Nice bright colours. Well made. Good quality.Lots of parts too and I mean lots.Kids can have hours of fun when it's raining and it rains a lot where I live.Giving it 4-5. So close to a 5 though ever so close. Just missed out because of the tiny parts.

So far one of the two bags we've opened had one missing piece. We'll see how the others fare. If you need all 20 animals for a party then you should buy extra for safety's sake. The dinosaur was missing a tooth and could not be assembled without it (had to substitute a square from our Lego bin). Originally thought the unicorn was missing its horn as well (and you can see it's not in the picture), but it turned up stuck inside another piece so it wasn't missing after all. We're using these as school prizes for hitting learning milestones. As time passes and my kids open more of these I will adjust my review if we find more incomplete kits. The pieces seem to be Lego compatible because the substitutions we made for missing pieces were made from our brand name Lego bin. Still, I'm only giving it 3 stars for quality because the animals are prone to falling apart. Part of it is that the designs don't overlap pieces well enough so there's a lot off points of failure, but the pieces also don't seem to fit as tight as brand name - you can probably see some of the gaps on the unicorn picture. The instructions are just a little less clear than the brand name as well. Finally, they are definitely a 5 star value though. You'd be paying much more for the same number of pieces of brand name Legos. Even if you overbuy a little bit to give you some margin for missing pieces (like if you got this pack of 20 for a party with 17 or 18 kids) it's still likely a lot cheaper. And I'm not sure there's really any brand name equivalent anyways in terms of a package of many small sets.
