Park Tool SW-13 Bicycle Spoke Wrench for Mavic Wheels
Park Tool's line of double-ended spoke wrenches are a comfortable and functional option for truing bicycle wheels with specialty spoke nipples. Each Park Tool SW-13 is made in the USA, and is precision-machined, nickel plated and vinyl-dipped for long service.
The Park Tool SW-13 is designed to fit select Mavic spoke nipples:
- Smaller end fits 6-spline nipples with a 5.5mm outside spline diameter and 7mm thread size nipple
- Commonly found on R-sys wheels
- Equal to the sizing of the Mavic M40652 wrench
- Larger end fits 6-spline 9mm FORE drilled rim adapters
- Commonly found on rims such as Mavic XM819, EX823 and Speedcity wheels
- Equal to the sizing of the Mavic M40630 or M40494 spoke wrench

Fit great n my 18 year old Mavic rims. My bike was involved in a minor crash and the front rim was tweaked so I needed to tru it up. Had the holder for the spoke so it doesnt twist but needed a spoke wrench. After reading quite a few reviews which said it fit some Mavic spokes but not all I took a chance on this one and it fit great. Rim is as good as new.

Ich möchte eigentlich nicht all zu viel über das Werkzeug selbst schreiben. Mein Problem war dass ich nicht wusste welcher Spanner für meine Speichen passte. Also habe ich mir kurzerhand den SW-12 und den SW-13 bestellt.Für Meine Speichennippel (5,5 mm an der weitesten Stelle gemessen) der SW-13.Anbei noch ein paar Bilder die vielleicht helfen können.

Unfortunately Mavic has decided to give their higher end wheels proprietary nipples, requiring a special spoke wrench, and providing a plastic one that strips the first time you use it...Park comes to the rescue with a great tool. My only gripe about this spoke wrench is that where other types of wrenches will slip on the nipple and then rotate around the spoke, allowing you to turn the wrench as many times as needed with out readjustment, this wrench must be taken off and reattached to the nipple. I bought this wrench not only to make small adjustments when truing my wheels but to replace a broken spoke. Having to seat the wrench, move it a little, take it off and re-seat over and over again was a little annoying. Other than that, Park has once again made a great aftermarket tool that's sturdy with a good grip.I caught this item at $10 with super saver shipping, too good of a deal to pass up.
