I bought these for my students to use. I keep them on my desk and if someone needs an eraser, they come and get one. They erase pretty well and they don’t leave a greasy mess like some other erasers I’ve tried.

These arrow head erasers are the thickest most sturdiest eraser caps out there! They erase pencil without smudges and clean away pencils marks with ease. It’s as if you hadn’t made any mark in the page. They last quite a while as they are smooth and precise. I give them out to my students as well as top every pencil that I give out with one. Regardless if the pencil eraser has been used or not. Everyone who writes with a pencil should use these. One eraser last a whole 2 to 3 pencils. They have fit perfectly on all standard and mechanical pencils. You get your moneys worth per Box. One box has lasted me 2 school years so far (being a teacher in a classroom) they are easy to put onto a pencil and stay in place. No more wobbly eraser ends that don’t even erase the mistake!

Good eraser and sturdy (didn't break at the transition point like some other brands tend to do). The downside for us is that these are cut flat on top, so if you want to use them for detailed work (art, etc.), you will not have the sharp and precise reach that most other types provide. Otherwise, definitely good value for the price.

These are an exceptional good eraser!! I had bought some àt the dollar store that worked well eraser wise but ripped asthma were too loose and too thin.These were PERFECT!!My only problem was I thought there was 14 per package...not 144!!So I sent some to my kids and grandkids...and to the grandkids classmates!!I will never been to buy another eraser ..and I put them on every pencil I have!!WELL WORTH the price!!

It is a soft rubber that is wonderful erasing. I bought it as a party bag filler and thought it won't be good at erasing (had bad experience years and years ago) but the Paper Mate brand is excellent quality!

My favorite erasers ever!! I went out on a limb and tried them, I am in love! They don't break, split, or crumble off the pencil. I have even used them on mechanical pencils and they work brilliantly. I am only going to buy these from here on out!*EDIT*First off, let me say: I am very picky when it comes to office supplies. It must be the teacher in me. Still a 5 star review!!! I am ordering more ASAP. These are durable, last long, and erase cleanly. After over a year, I am jut now running low on these erasers. I took most of them to the school I work at and they work wonders! The kids can use them, and I am finding the erasers to last longer than the wooden pencils. Every once in a while, one will snap in half due to "frustration" erasing on homework, but it really does take a lot to break them. I haven't actually seen one crumble yet. I also like them because they don't leave "dust". They are awesome for art projects as well. I like that they are all the standard pink color. It reduces fighting over specific colors, like erasers I have had in the past; plus it makes them "boring" looking, so the kids don't want to try to swipe them from the room. These erasers erase smoothly, don't leave smudges, and don't wear down the paper. These are not those office supply store hard, crumbly, hole-in-the-paper erasers. They are larger and way more durable. I actually prefer these over the large pink pearl handheld erasers.A MUST BUY if you are an elementary parent/teacher or art teacher/student!! They are a little more expensive, but their longevity will save you money over time. I cannot say enough about these erasers!! Also, I stored them in airtight bags/containers and after over a year, they were not hard at all and worked just as well as the first day I used them.
