I have original Grobet 6-1/4 inch files (which the handle claims to be made for), and this handle doesn't fit the files. Looking at the reviews of this item at jewelry specialty stores, it seems I'm not the first person to have found this out. (Also the real price of one handle is $4.50…). One extra star for the finish; it does seem like they're well-enough made.

I would rather spend 1/2 the cost for one of these. They work good. Nice wood handle.
