I used this cable to install my POD brake controller in a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the factory hitch and trailer wiring. It fits perfectly and the controller works fine. It needed no additional work.The plug is on the driver's side near the emergency brake. I plugged the cable into my controller and the brakes work.

I used this for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2) to add a Reese brake controller. Didn't take me long to find the factory harness connector behind the parking brake pedal and this wiring adapter snapped into it perfectly. It works great with my brake controller, my only criticism is that I could use an extra foot of wire on the harness for more flexibility in locating the brake controller.

Said it was for a Jeep Cherokee 2019 but the pin configuration was female not male. I made a pin jumper anyway and plug it into the access for the brake controller and it cost me 650.00 to replace the computer board for my car. Yes, I rang the wiring out before I plugged it in.

Works perfectly but be certain your vehicle computer software has been updated to include the Towing Package or this will not work. I found out the hard way.

Worked great on my grand Cherokee. For jeep users, when you plug this in, it will not initially work. You will need to go to the dealer and have the "towing package" enabled in the jeep if it did not originally come with he towing package. The jeep charged me 150 bucks to get that turned on.
