Perfect fit 2000 15hp 2 cycle nissan outboard. This was very ez to replace. Remove 1 roll pin on the shift linkage. 4 nuts and washers holding lower unit on. 3 bolts holding pump housing on. Slide it up off driveshaft being careful to not lose the key. Slide new impeller down driveshaft. Use dish soap on inside of housing to lube it. Turn driveshaft clockwise as you push housing down over impeller. DO NOT ROTATE IT CCW, THAT CAN GET THE FINS FACING BACKWARDS. DON'T ROTATE YOUR MOTOR BACKWARDS BY HAND AS IT HAS SAME ILL EFFECT. snug 3 bolts back in housing. Put a little marine grease on ds spline. Slide IT back together. Put washers and nuts back on. How tight? I asked 3 dealers what torque they all said good and snug but not like a tire lug nut. I was looking for a ft lb speck. So I used blue locktite and snugged them a little more than I'd snug a sparkplug.
