Easy enough to put together and it holds the older 5.5 horse just fine. No issues.

Stronger than I expected. Not that easy to use, as it tries to move around/fall over when you try to start the engine (just because it's on wheels).

For $75 and free Prime shipping this small outboard stand cant be beat. I suppose it could hold the advertised 85 lbs, but it might be a bit shaky. I needed something to hold my 2.5hp Yamaha in the garage when not on my Twin Troller. This little stand is perfect. All the parts were in the package, all the nuts, bolts and washers, all the holes were drilled in the correct locations. It took me 10 minutes to assemble it and I was goofing off. Plus it arrived a day early. Definitely worth looking at for a small outboard stand.

The American made good quality ones are over $300.I only have a 9.9 hp but decided to go for the 15-30 hp stand because it was only like $10 more. The thing is really sturdy. Able to wheel my outboard into a elevator and up to my storage unit during the winter no problem.During assembly I had a damaged vertical side tube and was unable to get the handle tube to attach to it which was super annoying but I called the distributor and they answered the phone right away, didn’t wait on hold, no questions asked they sent two side tubes and a new handle tube. I only needed one side tube so that was overkill but nice that they went above and beyond and that they got it shipped to me asap. Had the new part 2 or 3 days later.

I have a 9.9 Merc 2 stroke. I'd say that was all that one would take. It has some give and flex with that weight. About 65 pounds or so.Assembly was easy, directions not great but simple enough to easily figure out. Material quality was very marginal. Cheap/soft fasteners, thin tubing, didn't look like $80 to me.But it does work. The 9.9 is in my garage for the winter, my goal for this purchase.

Purchased this stand to mount my 60 lb, 5hp Tohatsu propane outboard. The stand went together smoothly and without any problems. Assembly took about 15 minutes. The box included just the right number of bolts & washers and all the parts fit together as designed. The instruction sheet was clear enough & offered pictures. The stand is not super strong. I'd think that it could be used safely on motors up to about 100 lb. Even with my lighter motor, there is a little flexing of the stand's aluminum tubing when moving the motor. The wheels on the stand are strong enough for the task and roll smoothly. The piece where the motor attaches is real, high-quality wood that is 1 1/2" thick and 4 3/4" high.Apart from the seemingly high price of the unit, I am quite satisfied with it.

I bought this to support a multitude of small outboards while I work on them. While the finished product does hold the weight of the outboard just fine, it is definitely not good for any engines under 100 pounds. The angle of the stand leaves the engine hanging in the perfect center of gravity, and while this is fine for a heavier engine, it is no good for lightweight outboards. With a 6 HP Evinrude on it, the stand easily will tip backwards and crash to the floor! The worst part was the assembly. The box and parts were clearly labeled "MADE IN CHINA," and it really shows. The instructions were unclear in broken English. The hardware was of the cheap, dollar store variety, two of the bolts were missing, and NONE of the bolt holes lined up. Even the instructions said "If the bolt holes do not line up, use a hammer to tap the bolts through." It took two of us to assemble as one had to bend the metal to line up the holes while the other used a hammer to tap (sometimes bang) the bolts through. One hole lined up so poorly that I had to drill it wider to accommodate the bolt.I'm not kidding you, not a single hole lined up right. It's almost as if the manufacturer was drilling the holes blind and not keeping any tolerance in mind.I'm extremely disappointed in this stand. Being an outboard mechanic for several years, I've seen and used many engine stands, and this one takes the cake for being the worst. I don't even like keeping smaller outboards on it because it is so unstable without weight added to it. If it weren't such a pain to assemble/disassemble, I would send it back, but at this point I'm stuck with it.Please STEER CLEAR of this stand. It'll only give you a headache and leave you feeling stung!

It’s was a trying thing to assemble as the holes did not line up properly .

Note OMC-130 means 130 Pounds, NOT 130 horsepower. Fine for my 15 HP 2 stroke and 3.5 HP 4 stroke. Wheels are probably okay but seem whimpy. Assembly is relatively easy, but uses low grade bolts, one even bent during assembly.Without the motor on it, it easily tips over. Could use a little extra weight in the front.
