I got it to replace my basic Yamaha mouthpiece and so far I love it. Only issue I have it that around the tip it's tarnishing a bit.

Excellent product, and great Seller. These Reeds are the finest Carbon blended Reeds in the World. They look, feel, and play like Cane Reeds. I purchased all five hardness's for my Selmer Tenor 54. The Reeds are true to marking; a Soft is 1.5, Medium Soft is 2.0, Medium is a 21/2, Medium Hard is 3.0, and Hard is 3.5. I use a Metal 24 K Gold Otto Link Vintage 5* with a BG LFJO Ligature. Make sure that you order the right Reed; there are (2) kinds of Carbon, and (1) kind of Hemp. My Reeds are Standard, NOT the Classical; which are for a different type of mouthpiece. These Reeds play perfect with no warm-up, or moisture required. Pro Reeds for Pro Player's.

I had a black plastic mouthpiece and replaced it with the Brass mouthpiece. What a difference. The sound is like night and day.D Burrell
