The reason I bought this was for protection of my phone. I bought this phone last spring and it’s a great Apple phone. I was charging it on my wide armed recliner. As I was getting up I bumped it and it fell from the arm to the hardwood floor. I picked it up to place it on the arm and had to put it in the holder. It must have hit the holster right square on the keeper because I picked it up and was clipping it on and it fell out of the clip. I looked at the clip and the little indent that locked it on had sheared off. In my eyes this unit saved my phone from damage. It’s the best!!!
