The taste of this organic coffee is great. Wonderful that it's Fair Trade and has so many powerful mushrooms added to it.The only reason I docked it a star is because the packaging is starting to peel away from itself in two layers near the top. Not sure if all products will do that; it doesn't seem to be harming the product, just not as efficient when you roll it up.

Great for a gift or to bring into the office.

The flavor is that of regular coffee, but the taste texture is much smoother and creamier. I would suggest on first try try it black and then add sweetener and cream to taste. Honestly not bad was just not expecting the creamy texture.

Although I can't say this is the best tasting coffee, I love the combination of mushrooms that are included. Each one has different properties that can really have a positive impact on your health. I ended up mixing it with my regular coffee and even though I may not have gotten the recommended amount of the beneficial mushrooms, the taste was much better. I went through the bag very quickly and at the price, I would definitely continue to mix it. I feel like having this blend with my regular coffee is much healthier. I would recommend it.

Hearing about the health benefits of mushroom coffee, I wanted to try the 8-Mushroom Organic Ground Coffee by Malama. The coffee came well packaged with a carbon dioxide release hole in the packaging. The packaging had a manufacturing date of Jan 24 with 3 year shelf life.I am a regular espresso coffee drinker who also uses pour-over. The grind is coarse. I tried this in a pour over. It has a mixed taste which did not suit my taste buds nor my stomach.The product is meant for 16 servings and a cost of $39.99, at the time of this review, each cup is at $2.50 which does not provide a high value.

My wife and I absolutely love this coffee. The flavor is amazing, it has an earthy tone. It's definitely a lot better than some coffees in grocery stores. We liked it so much we drank it everyday and went through it really fast.It comes in a bag with a clip, so you can close it up tight to keep it fresh.You can definitely see the benefits of the mushroom after a couple of days. My thinking was clearer, no brain fog and overall I felt a lot better mentally. The mushroom really work and help.The only thing is that it is a little pricey. But definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it.

Ok…where do I begin. I was so looking forward to this specialty coffee/mushroom blend. I used a one cup drip coffee device with a thin paper filter as usual only I used twice the amount of coffee grounds than I normally do as per instructions. After the first pour of boiled filtered water the flow went from normal to one drop per second. I got so frustrated after fifteen minutes which is twice the time it usually takes for me to make my morning coffee so I pitched it. I then tried again using half the recommended amount of grounds….same results. I then dumped the wet coffee grounds out of the filter and used the stainless steel holder without a filter. The taste was ok..nothing special. I had tasted the four tbs. version before pitching it and it was so strong and bitter…2 tbs. per 12 ounces of water tasted much better. This coffee costs four times my regular locally produced organic coffee and personally I wouldn’t accept this product again for free which this was. I am going to scatter it in my garden to keep the neighbor’s cat from coming into my yard. They need to make this so that the mushroom bits don’t swell up and block the filter from working. If you choose to use this item expect to spend an hour to make one 12oz cup of coffee. I would give this a zero rating if it was possible. Sorry, but the product needs work and how did they come to the almost $40 price!?!? You’ r got to be kidding me!
