How To Use Roostmade Organic Cutting Board Oil
Moisturize.
Apply a liberal coating of Roostmade Organic Wood Oil anytime your wooden cutting board looks dry.
Nourish.
Allow oil time to fully saturate into the pores of the wood, minimum 15 minutes but for best results allowing for overnight is preferred.
Buff.
Wipe off all excess oil, then buff the wood vigorously until silky smooth. Seriously tho, buff it well, get all the excess off. You can't really overdo this part.
Enjoy!
Now your board is moisturized, and ready for use!

This product is great and will really help my cutting board and wood products in the Kitchen. The problem is Amazon delivery. they send bottles of products through the mail in envelopes that do not protect them causing damage and breakage. I guess the algorithm for profits allows for this inconsiderate mailing. It is a hassle to the consumer and damages their purchase. If possible I recommend having your glass and bottled products sent to a local locker, like Staples etc, because they seem to package the item differently to those facilities and they make it undamaged.

I am so glad and grateful to have found this terrific alternative to mineral oil, a petroleum product. It is easy to apply, smells wonderful, and works great to seal my Hinoki cypress cutting board. It really brings out the beauty of the wood, too. In fact, it's so beautiful I almost hate to cut on it! This wood oil--organic and subtly fragrant--is one of my favorite finds of recent days. Kudos to its creator--Roost oil is fantastic!

Embarrassingly, I recently discovered that mineral oil, for cutting boards and such, is clarified petroleum; gross! So, I went in search of something healthier and safer and found Roostmade. I am in love! It feels and smells SO good, is easy to use, and leaves my wood looking prime time. It's made of organic ingredients and even the packaging is thoughtfully produced. This wood oil is the only brand I want from now on, and I will also be gifting it to friends and family. Awesome product!

I’m am passionate about health and not using petroleum products! I also try to reduce plastic use. I have a number of cutting boards that are unfinished wood and they get dry. I have been using plain walnut oil but it wasn’t quite what I wanted. I ran across this and love the addition of carnauba wax and that it is organic and made by a small business in the USA. I love how it smells, and the way it nourishes the wood and keeps it moist. I am now wanting to find the wood wax and the refill pouches of the oil. Keep up the great work Roostmade! Oh and I love the thicker consistency of the oil. Makes applying it easier and dare I say it…I rubbed the leftovers into my hands and my skin loves it too. No need for gloves or to wash my hands. 🙌🏻

I have now used this cutting board oil on a number of different wood surfaces, all with EXTREMELY impressive results. One coat alone on an old wooden dining table brought it back to life and looking gorgeous. Same with my cutting boards and a butcher block top. Love this stuff, easy to use, smells great, a little goes a long way, and it doesn’t make my hands feel yucky after applying (it’s actually really moisturizing, and made with natural/safe products, so after applying the product I just massage the excess into my hands). Can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this product, and I would highly recommend for any number of uses.
