Optolong has now released a EOS-C clip filter version of their tremendously popular L-eNhance filters,Compatible with Canon EOS-C . The relentless spread of urbanization and its associated light pollution have become a growing problem for all amateurs and astro photographers. The current solutions to the problem can be expensive and might include the purchase of a monochrome camera, several types of narrowband filters and a filter wheel. L-eNhance provides an economical and practical solution for amateurs. It is a dual band-pass narrowband filter which has been designed for DSLR (digital SLR), color CMOS and CCD Astrophotography Cameras. The convenience and cost effectiveness of this filter allows amateurs to image a rich selection of astronomical images, even in bright, heavily light-polluted areas. Optolong believes the design of our L-eNhance filter is a technical innovation among filters. It effectively isolates the H-Alpha, H-Beta, and Oxygen III nebula emission lines and achieves a maximum transmission of up to 90%. The performance of this filter delivers images that superbly control the impact from light polluted skies. According to the characteristics of celestial body emission lines and the light pollution spectrum, Optolong specially designed and optimized dual-band L-eNhance filter in order to retain the prominent color of nebula RGB while blocking out most of light pollution. Tpeak: T>90% Blocking range: 300-1000nm Blocking depth: Light pollution line blocking >99% Surface quality: 60/40 Transmitted Wavefront RMS: λ/4 Parallelism (arcsec): 30s EOS-C Supported Models: 7D2/80D/800D/77D/70D/760D/750D/700D 650D/600D/550D/500D/400D/100D/1100D 1200D/1300D The filters work with all EF lenses, but is not suitable for EF-S lenses.

Narrow band astro photo go-to option. I am in Bortle 7 zone, but this pulls off all the light pollution. No need to say more. I will let this image speak for itself.Picture taken with this filter on canon t6i full spectrum converted with canon 200mm USM II f2.8 at 1600 ISO, 45s exposure for 4 hours. Processed with pixinsight and PS.

All of the images included were taken with the clip-in filter.Any issues with detail were the fault of the optics or the mount, not the filter. This filter is simply incredible. It lets me take images of faint and huge nebula that I otherwise wouldn't be able to because the light pollution would be too hard to removeAlso, even the clip-in filter can be used for visual. I was able to see the Swan, Ring, Dumbbell, Helix, Trifid, Lagoon, and Eagle nebula through my 114mm aperture reflector telescope, just by holding it up to the eyepiece! I can't recommend this enough

Amazing filter. I live in a bottle 7 area and this has improved my photography by a 100 percent. None of the photos posted went over 1 hour exposure.

Used this multi-band filter with my Celestron scope and Canon EOS Ra camera, and with excellent results on many deep space nebula!

You just need to learn how to process so you can correct the white balance

I have a Canon T7i camera and although the filter fits in the body, you cannot use an EF-S lens with it. A regular EF lens will work. The main reason I'm reviewing this is that the vendor was GREAT to work with. It took several email exchanges to determine the problem but they stayed with it until the solution was found. I had no problem returning the filter.
