L-eNhance is a dual-band pass filter which has been designed for DSLR (digital SLR), color CMOS and CCD cameras. The convenience and cost effectiveness of this filter allows amateurs to image a rich selection of astronomical images, even in bright, heavily light-polluted areas. Optolong believes the design of our L-eNhance filter is a technical innovation among filters. It effectively isolates the H-Alpha, H-Beta, and Oxygen III nebula emission lines and achieves a maximum transmission of up to 90%. The performance of this filter delivers images that superbly control the impact from light polluted skies. L-eNhance Filter Spectrum Curve: According to the characteristics of celestial body emission lines and feature of light pollution span of spectrum, Optolong specially designed and optimized dual-band L-eNhance filter in order to retain the prominent color of nebula RGB while blocking out most of light pollution. Technical Data: 1. Substrate: B270 2. Thickness: 1.85mm 3. Треак: Т>90%. 4. Blocking range: 300-1000nm 5. Blocking depth: light pollution line blocking >99% 6. Surface quality: 60/40 7. Transmitted Wavefront RMS: 1/4 8. Parallelism (arcsec): 30s Package Includes: OPTOLONG 1.25"L-eNhance Filter*1

I have the 2" version for my serious astrorigs. But I got a unistellar evscope2 and figured this would be a good upgrade for it.

This filter is awesome!!! I took the attached images from my bortle 6 light polluted driveway. I used a Skywatcher Evoguide 50ED scope, Starizona field flattener, ZWO ASI 585MC camera, Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTI mount and the Optolong l Enhance filter.

This thing is incredible. Now, even if there's a full moon, I can be outside imaging. So it's effectively multiplied my imaging sessions many times over. I use it on a Skywatcher ED80 with an asi294mc camera. Before I got this filter, I would just shut everything down when the moon was bright, which was a shame because those always seemed to be the clearest nights also. But with this filter, the moon doesn't even seem to exist. The filter really shines on emission nebula, which I guess is what it's really designed for. I've taken tremendous photos of the N. America nebula, the Heart nebula, the Wizard, etc., again, even with a full moon. I also use it to supplement my galaxy photos. I don't really know what I'm doing in that regard, but I find combining frames with and without the filter really enhances my galaxies (especially the Triangulum.) Other than buying a better mount (eq6-r pro), this is hands-down the best astrophotography purchase I've ever made.
