This under quilt blew my expectations away. We camped in the same spot as last year in Breck, and the temps at night get down in the 20-30's. The prior year I was so cold even in a sleeping bag rated for -20 and dressed in sweats, a hoodie, gloves, socks, and hat. This year I tried the under quilt, and I dressed the same to stay warm. The temp got down to 20-30 again, and I had the sleeping bag unzipped and felt perfectly comfortable. I even took my hat off. The quilty is light and not very thick which made me wonder how well it would work. It worked!!

I had attempted to make under quilts using military poncho liners and shock cord multiple times until investing in one of these. The design is purposely sewn so that it conforms to your body and creates a dead air space which insulates you like nothing else. It is super lightweight and creates a soft cushion on the inside of your pack if you spread it out against your back, adding to the comfort of a loaded pack. I will never attempt to make another underquilt, and this was well worth every penny.

This is a very solid product and good quality for the price. I go camping often and was getting cold at night, so came to Amazon to find the perfect solution. A regular blanket is not warm enough and carrying a big puffy quilt camping is not easy to travel with and would take up way too much space. This did the trick! Kept me warm and toasty all night long, but not too warm. It is also pretty durable, I've been using this for over 3 years now and it just has some small tears and stains after many uses outside. This will probably not be warm enough if you live up north depending on the time of the year, but was nice for Florida "winter". It also comes with a sack for easy transportation and is very light. Highly recommend!

A game changer for hammocking. Keeps me nice and warm. Super light weight for backpacking.

You're a hammock camper? You need this unit. You already knew that. You could use any suitably adequate underquilt, but this one is affordable. It packs small, lofts fast, and attaches to more than just One Tigris hammocks using simple carabiners...I replaced the 'biners that came with it with much heavier duty ones and I'm quite happy.

It fits great under my Hennessy Explorer. I used to use an airmattress inside the hammock but having this underneath makes a lot more sense.Best part is if its a warm night you can start the night with the underquilt pushed to a side (so your back/bum is able to get the breeze through the hammock material) and if it gets colder during the night you just reach out with your hand (while never getting out of the hammock) and pull the quilt under you.

Had my first ever hammock campout and with the OneTigris 3 Seasons Underquilt it was awesome! I've been a day hammock-er for 3 years, just never had the chance to camp overnight. I knew I would need a good underquilt as day hammocking can get a little chilly sometimes. I searched for a good one, found many were pricey, and I had already spent a lot on a new pack, sleeping bag and other gear. I chose the OneTigris because it was a good price and it had excellent reviews. My son took us to Lake Ann on Mt Baker WA in early September. The hike up was mostly dry, just a little lite rain. The underquilt packs down real small and tight, it's light and fit well in my pack. My son set up a Eno rain fly for my Eno hammock, and I easily attached the underquilt. I had a good sleeping bag. It rained all night, wind blew too. I don't know exactly how low the temp dropped, maybe low 40's-high 30's, but enough that my nose was too cold until I hid it in my sleeping bag- it was chilly. I stayed toasty warm and dry all night! I am really happy with the purchase and look forward to camping again! Thank you for a fantastic underquilt!

Added this under-quilt to my summer hammock rig, consisting of an ENO double and a 12 foot Kelty Noah's tarp, with ENO tree straps. The underquilt snapped right on in seconds. I slept 2 nights, using my Mountain Hardware down bag as a quilt. the footbox kept it on my feet. They system was much easier to get in an out of than trying to climb into a mummy bag inside a hammock. The sides of the double hammock flipped over and cut off any drafts. My recording thermometer got down to 32 degrees, and I was as warm as toast. for cooler camping I would consider an additional of these. My only issue us weight and bulk, not with the under-quilt per se, though that packs as large as a summer down bag, but the system, By the time you get hammock, tarp, tarp, guy rope and stakes and under-quilt your looking at 10 lbs of gear and 4 different sized stuff bags. with a mosquito net add another bag an a couple of pounds. With my Kelty Crestone 2 ( discontinued, but I love it) and thermarest self inflating pad, I get the same or better performance (down to 14 degrees so far) but the combo weighs just over 3 pounds and is easy to pack.Pros: warm and comfortable, easier than just a down bag.Cons: bulky and heavy ( as part of a system) for backpackingI will continue to use the hammock system for truck camping, as it is really comfortable, but will use the tent and pad for backpacking and back country

I was considering returning the product as i ended up making one by the time i received it. however when i opened the packaging i was impressed with the quality for the price. this comes with a decent compression sack, the sack its self has a feature that most companies over-look a printed logo, compared to a stitched patch. although this inst ultralight it does cut grams. the suspension system is full proof, it comes with elastic through nicely sewn channels and includes a small light weight carbiner for each side. Although the description at time of purchase says no suspension included i think they were saying that the hammock suspension inst included. so this has everything you need except the hammock, and a way to hang the hammock. as for warm this is fairly warm, its not drafty for me, given i'm inside and the temperature is 67 Fahrenheit with the fan on high. but i have no top quilt or blanket. As for hammocks it fits i tested my biggest and smallest the ENO double nest. and my ENO sub 7 both are compile and fit well. the only cons i seem to note, are that on the quilt there is a stitched patch the may need to be seem ripped off( if gram counting), and the weight. I didn't get this for backpacking, i have an ultralight down one for that, this is everyday inside UQ for me. but if hiking on a budget and you have poor sewing skills to make your own this is great i wouldn't hesitate. the inside quilt material is very soft breathable nice on the skin, while the outside is a durable feeling rip stop nylon. this far exceeded my expectations.
