The OneGrill Cordless Rotisserie Motor has been designed to perform as well as a light duty electric motor without the need for an extension cord; this model will turn a load of 25 lbs. perfectly balanced or less (15 to 20 lb. ceiling with minimal imbalance) at 2.5 rpm providing up to 25 in./lbs. of torque (battery quality dependent). This motor has the built in ability to reverse direction if necessary by simply reversing the battery positions (direction can not be altered when using AC adapter). With a rugged chrome coating this motor will perform in the worst of conditions without sacrifice. Fits all standard 3'' brackets. Please note weight maximums assume a perfectly balanced load. As the imbalance of a load increases the turning capability can be reduced below maximum anticipated capacities. Many motors available on the market today may appear similar, most are not designed with the torque and reliability of this unit. Either AC adapter or battery power can be used with this unit; AC adapter is not a charger but an alternate power source. This motor is backed by the OneGrill 1 year "No Hassle Warranty". *Load rating ceiling of 25 lbs. assumes perfect balancing. Dependent on load profile weight capacities will vary. Please note that cordless style rotisserie motors produce an incredible amount of power given just a 3 volt DC power supply and for very long intervals. Due to the incredibly high motor speed and consequent gear reduction needed to achieve such power, these types of motors will produce more audible volume than an electric type motor. This motor is designed for use within the weight range and balance weight recommendations specified. Although this motor is extremely powerful given a power source of just 2 D-Cell batteries, it is not recommended for exceedingly imbalanced loads such as pigs, lambs, etc.

For a Weber grill rotisserie. Glad I purchased a motor that utilizes electricity and/or battery as we need to use electricity.

Worked OK first time out. It is loud like most others. Did not use the AC power supply. Batteries only.Not sure why some folks have said theirs is plastic. Well the one I have is metal. Time will tell how well it does.Will post updates if anything changes. So far so good.

Not totally universal - would not fit my Brinkmann Select grill. The motor hit the side shelf before it fully seated.

This was used in a animated character on a float . It worked well but has a lot of backlash in the gears . Good value for the price though.

I have used it so far on two occasions: two racks of pork ribs and a large chicken. Worked like a champ both times, using only the D batteries. Frankly I am a very surprised and pleased at just how good it does work.

It works perfectly. Just cooked a chicken on the BBQ last night and it browned up nicer than before. The motor ran faster than ouroriginal one and made the chicken evenly "toasted".
