The layout has a nice soft glow. It's perfect for my bedroom. My only complaint was there was a ding in the bottom of it in the metal base.

This is not one of those cheap flimsy standing floor lamps that can tip over with a small bump or breeze. This is an all metal lamp with heavy base and light post off center the overhang weight to center and help plant this down on the floor with a sturdy stance that won't tip over on you. The gold finish also makes this a very glassy modern addition to any room you put it into with impressive expensive look. The wire cage lamp head with rope winding adds to the overall look of quality. This floor lamp will fit into most any decor with its quality looks.

Great floor lamp for a college dorm. Put it in my daughter's room and it adds a little style as well as good comfortable lighting.
