My baby tortoise loves to sleep in this and it’s so cute! It’s good quality and the tree doesn’t melt from the hot lamp!

I thought this hide would be perfect and would take up less useable space for my desert tortoise. This comes in four different sizes. Of the four, only two had dimensions. I opted for the large (even though the dimensions were not listed for it) hoping that it grow into it. Yeah ... NO! Not a large by a long shot. Decided to order the XL but first checked the dimensions. It's SMALLER than the medium!!! WTH? Don't trust the sizes or better yet, choose another option.

Bello ma si vede che nn è vero . Arrivato rotto ma aggiustato con attack e risolto subito. In confronto ad altri oggetti , questo si vede che non è roccia vera ed anche l’albero che è finto ma non sta così male .

My captive-bred, baby Eastern Box Turtle is just 11 months old. His shell is about 1.5-2" in diameter. I have a low-profile, small tank setup for him, and needed a corner hide so that, A) it didn't take up too much room, and, B) he wouldn't wedge himself between the hide and the glass. I ordered the medium size, and it's PERFECT! With a 90-degree angle, it's tucked away in a corner, leaving him plenty of room to walk. The opening is wide and tall enough for a baby turtle. And, to top it off, this little guy fancies himself an explorer, so he likes to climb up the side and sit on the roof! Inside the hide, he's made a cozy burrow in the substrate. Honestly, he's set. As for me, I was a little weirded out by the rubbery feel of it, but it must just be the finish. Also, I didn't put the tree on, since his tank is too small. However, the "installation" of the tree is actually hilarious since you just kinda just tuck some perlite in there and pray it doesn't fall over, haha. I'd recommend using silicone! Since I'm not using the tree, I put some large river rocks in the hole so he can't get stuck. I had a scare once, but maybe he was just taking a drink... Either way, we really love this hide!

It's a very nice, heavy cave. I wanted to get a more natural looking, easy to access cave for my hingeback tortoise and this did the perfect job! If you have a small tortoise, then the XXL is the right size. My tortoise is about 4-5 inches long and she's able to snooze inside, safe and sound. The tree is a little sloppy, considering the only thing that anchors it is the white pebbles that come with the setup, but overall I love this cave! It has an entirely different look and feel compared to any other pet store decor.

The turtles love it, the only issue is that is a little small even the XXL

I put this in the corner of a terrarium. the size of the large is fine for small turtles. I have a medium one in the other corner and it's well kind of small though it works for now. the pebbles secure the plant in place and it does look pretty nice. a turtle was trying to eat the rocks however. or just interested in playing with them. I've been pretty satisfied with these I do recommend the large size. it's fairly spacious. they have climbed up both and do spend a lot of time in them. not a bad purchase. shop around not sure if these are the best but not bad. the design whereby the pebbles secure the plant isn't ideal though attractive. they can possible be knocked over as one of my turtles in interested in them and has disturbed the setup and knocked the plant over. just a heads up on that
