How long it holds up remains to be seen, but I couldn't be happier with this elastic. Its easy to sew, very stretchy, and the perfect thickness. It arrived in a tidy spool which is so nice. Its also soft and smooth so I think it will be comfortable if it makes skin contact (though I haven't finished the suit yet to fully test that)My only issue was my own mistake - my pattern called for 1/4" elastic and I somehow got the width wrong, however it hasn't made a big difference so far with the swimsuit. Seems to be working out fine. I imagine I will find plenty of uses for this elastic over time. Now I just hope it passes the test of that time.
