I don't regret buying this file cabinet, it's been very useful. Easy to assemble, with a smooth quiet opening and closing. Great cabinet for it's price. It really surprised me because I thought it is so inexpensive I looked for one that wouldn't have such high end features and it comes with a key! Again, this is a great buy and worth the price.

Based on the price and on reviews, I didn't expect top of the line quality. So, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the drawers operate far more smoothly and quietly than any other file system I've ever used. I keep opening and closing just for fun.And because they are light weight, they are far easier to maneuver into the house (up stairs) and unpack. I'm a very happy customer.

Reasonable value for the money, this will do the job for getting my desk cleared off, my financial/tax records and personal archives in order. Comes assembled, the pull handles go on in a minute or two. This is not the heavier gauge pro models that I've used for decades at work, but it is adequate for my needs and pretty much looks the same. Bottom line: I'm putting it in one spot and not moving it around or moving offices. As with some other reviewers, mine arrived dented on the side. I half expected this....in any event it's black and sitting along a wall so it's not exactly a focal piece of furniture in my apartment. And the dent is not all that immediate noticeable--I mean who stares at a file cabinet? I figured returning it would most likely lead to another dented one. Maybe they could pack them a little better, but UPS, Fed Ex aren't exactly kind in all of their handling.

This filing cabinet was perfect for organizing a small office space. Everything about it was just what I needed including color, ability to handle all my files, ease of pulling out the drawers, and space. It was so simple to put together, arrived promptly, and I am extremely satisfied.

I researched many different brands from Target, Walmart, Costco, Staples, and random places that sell file cabinets like Best Buy. I was not going to go over $200.00 but really I wanted to stay under $100.00. I bought a piece of garbage from Staples on sale from $114.00 to somewhere around $80.00. It arrived to my house broken and the brackets for the drawers were made of plastic.After I returned that I fell back on this option. The main discouragement initially was there were fewer reviews than I am used to seeing for other products I select. I decided to go with it anyway. The cabinet arrived intact, good start. It was very sturdy and easy to assemble. The brackets which hold the drawers were made of metal, which was great. So far I have it about halfway full, and I have other things I'm still sorting for filing sitting on top and it is holding up effortlessly.

This file cabinet was an awesome addition for my home office! I was considering various cabinets, and after doing a lot of research, this one was the best bang-for-your-buck cabinet out there for what it offers. Great price-point compared to the competition. Also, it pretty much comes fully assembled, you just have to mount the handles for the drawers, which took me under 5 minutes. It looks legit and the drawers are smooth and large, offering tons of room for storage and filing. There is also a lock and key for one of the cabinets to secure files which is very useful. It doesn't seem very heavy-duty or extremely durable for commercial use, but if you are looking to use it for personal use, I would HIGHLY recommend it. My girlfriend and I are very satisfied with this purchase!

I’m posting a review because I read negative reviews about this file cabinet that weren’t very fair. This is a lightweight cabinet, and is fine for normal household use. The metal will probably bend, so be careful if you have to move it. The only assembly was attaching the drawer pulls and it was simple. The drawers only pull 3/4 of the way out to prevent tipping. This does make reaching the items in back difficult, but not impossible and I wouldn’t consider this a flaw.
