Installed and initially had the same behavior as previous motor. Found a video online and apparently there is a bit of a known issue with ground wire failing. It needs to be replaced starting from connection inside the flex tube that you can see on the upper right when the rear door is lifted up. Ground is white and usually appears like it got too hot.

This fit in my 2001 chevy suburban no modification needed plugs in and works, technically with no wiper arm installed. Once I installed the wiper arm it sounded as if it was struggling to even move and when I went to inspect it while in operation the motor could only manage to budge the arm 1mm at most. I've tested every way I found applicable to make sure it wasn't my own mistake that caused it to not budge and I've come to the conclusion that the only way this first motor could move anything with a wiper is if it was made of styrofoam. Saying all of this I am receiving a replacement and will be updating this review as per the replacements performance. I'm not holding my breath. The replacement was somehow worse. No movement from it whatsoever just buzzing and clicking.

Didn't work in 2001 Tahoe LT. Although, according to Amazon, this was supposed to fit my 2001 Tahoe LT, it was dead when connected to the wiring harness. Thinking it was just defective, I sent it back for replacement. To seller's/Amazon's credit, they were super fast about sending out the replacement and it arrived the next morning. Unfortunately, the second one didn't work either. It appears there are two types of these and the shapes are slightly different. Although this fit, and the wiring harness slipped in, the one I received was different than the type I had. It didn't work at all.Mine was the style that was numbered 15055241 on the motor and transmission and 24024306 on the pulse board. The type the seller sent me was the other style. I don't know if that's why they didn't work -- or because they were defective. Regardless, they didn't work. I went to Pick-N-Pull junkyard and found a motor with pulse board that matched my numbering -- I found it in a Yukon of the same generation (2000-2006). Took the junkyard part home, hooked it up, and it worked.Again, I don't know if the ones the seller sent didn't work because of fitment or defect. I've returned both of them. I'm giving three stars though because they were great about sending a fast replacement.First picture is what seller/Amazon sent me, second and third picture is what I had. If you have the numbers on the part that I had, then this won't work for you. Hope this saves someone some frustration.

Ordered a replacement rear window wiper motor for my Yukon. The weather turned cold so I waited until spring to swap out. Bad idea. When fitting the motor to the application, it became apparent that the motor was orientated on the wrong side so as not to fit. The return window had expired so I had to eat it.The rear wiper motor on this vehicle that's been made for decades is not a difficult item to make and stock. You'd think they'd have it figured out but NOPE! MAKE YOUR PURCHASE ELSEWHERE.

I recieved this and installed it today. I'm not so sure this is going to last very long. The motor is seemingly very weak. Just in the couple of minutes playing with it, it has stopped mid wipe due to friction of the wiper blade. I guess it works better than a non working one though😂

The bracket comes installed upside down so that it fits in a smaller box. There are no instructions or labels to tell you this. No wonder people send it back. Minus one star for this. I just got lucky and figured it out. Remove bracket and reinstall it in correct position and it installs just fine. This one has pulse board in a different spot than my original so it didn't appear the same. Plug connection is the same and it works just fine. Tip: your door must be closed or you have to manually close the two catches for this to work. There are two safety sensors at the latches that won't let it come on when the latch/door is open. It's working fine at 1/2 the price of OEM.
