Fit and worked just like it should. The Quality is as good or better than the ones you get at the auto part store. And as far as durability, it's built to last and should last as long as it should under regular operation.

The alternator I purchased on June 10 is not charging my battery. I thought it might be a bad battery so I bought a new one. I also replaced the battery terminals. Today my brand new battery is doing the same thing as the old one - dying because it is not being charged. I checked the voltage and the alternator is only putting out 12.4 volts. When I turn on the lights it drops to 12.0. When I also turn on the air condition, it drops to 11.9. There is also a loud continuous whine. So I changed the serpentine belt thinking the belt might be bad. It still whines with the new belt.Contacted the vendor about their "1-year hassle free guarantee" and was told to contact Amazon because..."We do not have support and access to issue warranty for your order as this is fulfilled by Amazon."It is utterly ridiculous that a vendor is allowed to sell parts on Amazon claiming a 1-year guarantee yet will not honor it. Amazon would not allow a return because it was past 30-days. See the ridiculousness here? Avoid this company. They do not stand behind their products.

Alternator works fantastic. The red piece of plastic built into the alternator was in the way and I had to break it into pieces to get it out. I've noticed that my car lock and unlock feature work properly now. Before, the lock button on the fob couldn't get the door to unlock, you can hear it trying but it had trouble locking and unlocking. Now the car seems to have the power to be able to lock and unlock. So it's charging my battery more effectively it seems. I also noticed that it has a bit of a whine now.

Was a perfect fit. Once everything was hooked back up and started, the 97 3.0 Aerostar Van it was putting out 14.2 volts, and the one before it quit was barely doing 13.7. Great shipper and product appears to be a brand new unit and not rebuilt, so it says in their description. Cannot comment of mileage or length of service. Got it on 10/30/22 and installed it on 11/1/22. Was surprised at the pricing of this product, as the big boys local were wanting quite a lot more for this same product. This company will be my go to in the future, if the product stands up with future timing.
