Installed on a 95 Mustang GT and it works perfectly. My installation was straightforward and works great. I would recommend this alternator! No need to return a core either! Bonus!!

I was skeptical buying car parts from Amazon. This was much less expensive (even less than Rock Auto). Works great. I've now purchased other car parts from Amazon. Would buy again.

Used in a1987 Bronco with 351w out of a1992 f150. Had to do a bit of modifying but if you watch some YouTube you can find what you'll need to do. Painted mine black with some engine paint. My truck also has the smog pump delete and that's the belt I'm running. Shows 14.6 volts at 850rpm.

After reading several articles and advice on how to install a 3G alternator in a classic Mustang, I purchased this one to give it a go. Just had to replace the serpentine belt pulley with the V belt pulley on my old 1G alternator, and reclock the case to bring the wiring connections closer to the battery and solenoid. Once installed, I was able to remove my old voltage regulator and the wiring associated with that. There were some warnings that a single V belt would not be enough to turn the alternator without slipping due to the higher amperage, but I have driven several hundred miles with this setup with no issues. Lights stay steadily lit and I'm showing 14.55 volts to the battery for charging. I'll be buying another one for a spare so if something happens, I can just swap it out and be ready to go.UPDATE: I bought two of these in 2022 - one to install and one as a backup. In March 2023, the first alternator I installed quit charging my vehicle and I ran out of battery about 20 miles from home. I had my wife bring me the backup alternator and I installed it at the side of the road. I contacted the seller right away and they refunded my cost of the original alternator and I didn't have to return it. Good customer service!
