This kit provides some very necessary maintenance items for your Shark vacuum. I replaced the roller, roller belt and the guide wheels using this kit and the project went very well. One caveat, make sure you have a security Torx bit set that is long enough to access the many screws used in this vacuum. I had a T15 security Torx bit however, many of the screws are recessed so deep that I had to buy another Torx set that were longer. The kit I bought was sold an Amazon and was $10. I can use it on other projects so it was a welcomed addition to my tool box.The replacement filters were not of the same quality as the original Shark OEM filters however, i do think they would be better then using an old clogged and dirty filter. One of the filters supplied claims to be a HEPA certified filter but I doubt that it is at this price point. Most of the cost of HEPA filters is the cost of certifying that it is indeed HEPA. However, it is still better than using a dirty filter. I have been using the factory supplied HEPA original filter for many years and I simply take it out and blow it clean with compressed air.

My parents have a Shark Rotator, and they asked me to take a look at it, for some reason the suction was not so great anymore. Nothing clogging their hoses. I asked them when was the last time they changed the filters. "What filters", they said. There are 2 filters under the collection canister, and 1 very important HEPA filter on the front. I got this kit, swapped out the filters for them, and the vacuum runs again at full suction power. As you can see, the old filters were very dirty! Gross, sorry. Replacing the filters is something ANYBODY can do. I don't need to replace the roller bar, so I can't comment on that. I did enjoy the small brush/cutting tool that is included. Slide it across your roller brush, it cuts all the clogged hair off easily. Great kit. Thank you.
