I like the product but when you have a newborn who is constantly cluster feeding it's extra work to use them. But I do like it.

I was looking for a product similar to the medela hydrogel patches. These were ok but not as effective.

The Medela name brand works much better because they are so much thicker. :( These are so thin and flimsy that they don't keep my nipple protected from rubbing inside my bras. They don't stick as well, either.

Negative stars if I could give them. I used this product for relief on my sore breasts/nipples during my first week of breastfeeding. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE! They stuck so bad to my skin and nipples. They removed sensitive tissue off of my breasts, exposing the underlying skin. Now making the areas more prone to infection. I had to be seen by my OB for topical RX and antibiotics/antifungals. These are too sticky and remove tissue upon removal. Spend the extra $ and get the Medela brand hydrogel pads or silver cups for relief that won’t damage your skin!

Helped so much when starting to breast feed, especially with nipple damage. Such good pain relief.

My daughter sometimes bites me when nursing and she has some teeth now so it can be really painful. I have been able to use these pads a couple of times after being bitten now and they seem to help me heal faster. They are really soothing especially after just being bit. They stick onto the breast lightly which is good so you don’t have to pry them off and cause more pain. I am really sensitive to adhesives and this doesn’t cause me any problems. I can see these helping with just general soreness from breastfeeding as well.

These are great for chapped nipples, but do NOT use them if you have any flaps of broken skin, like a scab or open wound. They’re very sticky and will tear your skin right off if there’s a loose piece for them to adhere to. A pro about their stickiness though is that they stay on really well and don’t move around.

Where were these bad boys with my first breastfeeding journey!? I know many, many, many people out there who come in with the age old saying of "breastfeeding doesn't hurt". However, that is false, and while the actual act of breastfeeding shouldn't hurt, soreness and tenderness is real, and can absolutely cause pain and discomfort! Especially in those first few weeks to first few months. It's not fun, but there are things to help sooth irritation, and these gel packs are one of those products. They absolutely work for tenderness, soreness, and chapping. Definitely a good thing to keep on hand if breastfeeding is the route you want to go. Sure, you may not need them and everything will be great! But then again, you may find that you do actually need some relief, and these provide it.
