Feels like wearing a diaper. Yuck. But good absorbency if that is what you are looking for. Fit is good too

This underwear is comfortable to wear. They are absorbant. They wash nicely and seem to be well made.

I love these period underwear so much, I wish they had them all my life! I want to buy them for every girl when she gets her period now. They are so easy to use, comfy, keep their shape, all the good things. For reference, I have tried 5 different brands and styles, and these ones are my favorite. They are great for my flow on any day and at any time of day or night, since they have the full backside coverage like an overnight pad but much better. I also love that they don't have the stitching right across the mid-bootie, which makes them more comfortable, in my opinion. I have been using them for about a year now - they have kept their shape and work just a well as ever - and am just on Amazon to order two more sets for friends and thought that it might be good to actually leave a review, which I rarely do. If you're wondering about getting these, I think you can't go wrong. Such a great invention!

So far this is my top pick for fabric, fit and possible absorption (I didn’t try them yet). Even though these are noisiest. Also- I bought for a plane ride and bc of the plastic waterproof barrier I’m worried about being flagged at the airport as another reviewer noted. Eek. But luckily on the flight they will be in my bag and not on my booty. So I will give these a try. I bought two other types and here’s my side by side review out of the box: Yeswell is crinkly plastic, but the rayon is the smoothest plastic but it feels thin in the pad like cheesy. But the pads go up high on front and back. There was a review about this plastic setting off an airport security... which I will need them for.Ecoperiod has a thin stretchy material with nylon, and the lining pad is quiet but it doesn't cover as much in the back. The absorbency is great according to reviews. But, not so good for on a road trip with lots of sitting.GOAT Union has the cleanest natural feeling fabric. It has the highest liner front to back, which is quiet to move but a little bit thicker than the others. I tried them on with black yoga pants and the material all over is thick enough you don't see the liner.

Only 4 hours in on a low flow and already they are leaking out the front. These really need more front coverage. Unfortunately I feel the need to wear one of my large reusable pads with these, which defeat the purpose. Also, these are very much bikini rise.

TLDR—These are really amazing. While not perfect due to coverage stopping short in the front, they provide priceless peace of mind, wash great, and I really love them. Details below.Size & Fit— These fit like a normal bikini shape underwear instead of some weird boxerbrief that cuts into your thigh. The sizes are also normal for a pair of bikini fit underwear. These are thicker due to the absorbency so the stretch ability is only medium—there is good stretch to be comfortable but it’s limited so keep that in mind when you are choosing a size. If you normally wear bikini underwear with medium stretch, you can buy the same size. For example, I buy a small in Old Navy or Gap so went with a small and these fit the same way instead of other brands whose sizing was sooo off and hard to decipher.Absorbency—I don’t use these on their own bc I have incredibly heavy periods. I use these as backups to prevent leaking and overflow, especially at night. They are amazing for that! No more ruined sheets! I can’t tell you how surprised and relieved I felt to wake up to see nothing on my white sheets or my clothes. For my very heavy flow days, that really says something. I still had leakage while sitting down, which leads me to my next point.Coverage—I searched high and low for a pair that fit like a bikini but also had coverage ALL the way up the back to cover lying down. The black coverage area goes all the way up to the back seam and while it does taper, the coverage is plenty to keep leaks at bay while sleeping. It does gets thinner at the back butt area. The thickest parts are in the center, which makes sense and the varying thickness actually makes it more comfortable. However, my major and only gripe is that the coverage doesn’t go all the way up to the seam at the FRONT. Why did you make such a great product and then stop partway up the front? WHYY? This caused immense leakage for me up the front towards the belly when sitting. It was a major bummer. I’m still giving it 5 stars nonetheless bc of how well it works in other respects and v hour hard it was to find a pair of underwear with those other qualities.Laundry—Due to my leaking issue, I was concerned about staining on the area that had no coverage but it washed out really nicely. My clothes still had to be washed twice and stain-treated while the underwear did not need pretreating or a second washing. Very impressive! Air drying indoors took about 18 hours in low humidity. I imagine a higher humidity day would take 24 hours but outdoors in the sun would likely be much faster. YMMV.

Generally, it gives good coverage, I agree with the feeling of other reviewers that the front part could have a bit more coverage, though. Other than that, I have got great feedback from my daughter. There was no leak when she slept in it. It is easy to wash. I soak with vinegar to neutralize the mild metallic smell, (which is natural and to be expected), rinse, then wash in the machine. The dryness factor is there except of course in the middle part where it is a bit damp, but it is less so than with a pad. Didn't find it bulky or heavy. It is quite comfy and makes her feel freer and happier. Didn't keep to the eight hour duration for change, although it is possible to do so, depending on the pace of the flow. Went with six hours. Suggestion, make sure there is sufficient, since the care instructions indicate hang up to dry for "best durability". All in all, a good purchase for us.

I ordered these a couple of months ago and have gone through 2 periods with them. They are very absorbant and I have had zero leaks! I ordered a size up and I feelclike that as a good idea. My first few days are heavy but these will last at least 8 hours. I will say that after work I will change due to smell, but I think that may just be me being paranoid! They aren't flattering but that isn't exactly the goal here so I don't mind. My first couple of days I do feel a little wet but no worse than a pad. Great product!
