Your cart is empty. The cheyenne jr is ready for adventure. Low hiker is great for trail time in the warmer months. A stylish combination of suede and nylon add breathability, and a padded tongue and collar add comfort for day in day out use.
They love the lightweight fit and feel of the rugged Cheyenne Jr from Northside. The leather and textile upper keeps things breathable when they're working up a good head of steam while the outdoor tread gives them sure footing as they explore trails, creek beds and other wilderness things. Plenty of padding keeps them happier on lengthy expeditions and the lace-up closure makes for a perfected fit.

I’ve bought 3 pairs of these shoes in different sizes. My son has wide feet and these are the only waterproof/water-resistant shoe that fit. They look great and while they do seem to wear out faster than his other shoes they do the job of keeping his feet dry on rainy days. Bonus is they are flexible enough for PE and recess too.

These hold up! We do a lot of camping and hiking as a family and had previously bought similar ones with Velcro across. Save yourself the trouble and don’t get the velcro ones! The d-rings that hold those straps in place all popped for each of my kiddos in less than a year. I guess because of the tugging? Anyways, if you want a sturdy hiking shoe that can be slipped on quickly without having to worry about laces untying and having to be retired in a jiffy— then these are the shoes to get!

Ordered these for my son to hike in and they were true to size. His first time wearing them was a long hike (didn’t break them in first) and they were comfortable. He hiked a few national parks right after that and they were excellent through the terrain with no blisters or pain.

I bought these for my 9 year old daughter to use during a week long hiking trip to Yellowstone. She's picky about her shoes, and I needed something that would give her support and cushion, but not be too heavy or cause blisters. These fit the bill. She did 20 miles without a single complaint (well, not about the shoes anyway. She did have some strong opinions about stopping for ice cream at one point). These are pretty light compared to my hiking boots, but they have good structure and feel well built. They held up well over trails and climbing over boulders (we didn't get them wet so no idea how waterproof they are), but on dry land, they were perfect!

Ambas suelas venían marcadas con bolígrafo de tinta indeleble, le escribieron a mano modelo y talla, no solamente en la parte de abajo, sino también en la parte lateral. El producto en sí, es muy bueno y llegó en tiempo y forma.

Bought for my son. These shoes hve held up to his abuse. I ussually purchase Keen shoes because they are the only shoe that lasts longer than 1-2 months...His last pair lasted almost 8 months.....only reason we bought new ones was because his feet grew. This seem like they will hold up. He likes them and they have passed the 1 month mark and still look good.2 month upadate:Went back to Keens...My son wore a hole completely through the soles of the shoes to were his toes were hanging out...plus he started complaining of his feet hurting. My son is 8 and yes he is hard on shoes....the Keens hold up a heck of alot better. The last pair we got over 8 months of hard use out of them. He out grew out them before wearing any holes through the soles.....

After reading the reviews, I ordered two sizes up and that was a good decision. My 7 yo son wears a 2.5-3 in sneakers. I ordered a 5 in these and it’s the right size. There’s no way he would have fit his regular size in these, they run really small apparently. He’s worn them a couple times on long walks/hikes and he says they get more comfy the more he wears them. He seems to like them. We’ve only had them a couple days so I can’t say yet how well they’ll hold up. He’s very picky with shoes, so I am just glad he’s finally happy with something and they are reasonably priced. I took off a star bc sizing is not standard for US.

My son loves the shoes. I did order up a size after reading about them running small. His new sneakers are a 4 1/2, but he s probably a 4. I ordered a 5 and they fit well but wish there was a little more room for growth. If I reordered I would probably of gone up another half size.Other than that they are cute, comfy and seem durable. We got them for hiking.

On the hunt for reasonable outdoors shoes for my 5 year old we ordered the Northside Cheyenne Hiking Boot. Not only did we get a box that contained two right shoes, they were also a different size - one was an 11, the other one a 13 (what I ordered). Make sure you always check that both shoes you receive are the same size!I did have my daughter try on the one shoe that was her size and it was definitely running a bit small. I also wasn't too impressed with the stiffness of the sole, though the shoe otherwise seemed nice enough. We of course returned them and I have to say that that was a very positive experience thanks to Amazon's great return policy/procedure. I was credited the refund within minutes of processing the return, which meant that I ordered a replacement on the same day these shoes arrived without having to foot the bill twice.I am always a little wary buying shoes or clothes online, for fear that I may have to return them if they don't fit - but even though we got a "lemon" it wasn't a terrible experience and going through the returns process was very easy.
