Thin and stretchy material will be perfect for late spring turkey hunting — breathable and comfortable. The zipper is low profile so I think it should do just fine as a base layer.

The word Jacket within the title description is very misleading. A few years back, I purchased a Nomad 1/4 zip pullover that I loved. I was looking for that exact pullover to replace the one I had. Even though quality was there, this came in thinner than my previous one. It's very similar long sleeve pull over you would wear fishing to protect skin from sun, gym or jog with on cool mornings. it's perfect to wear by itself for warm hunts. I was looking for something to add to my layering system to be pulled over thermo or t-shirts, that my previous one served so perfectly. This pullover is more appropriate as the base layer against the skin. I still gave it 5 stars because if this is what you're looking for, it's great quality. I returned the item as I already have similar shirts.

For first base i definitely don’t like zipper shirt, the fabric is breathable and light, but once you layer up ther is to much zippers the size im 5 9inc and i bought the mideum
