If your desk has regular, 90 degree edges then this cup holder is probably fine, but if your desk has beveled edges then I would recommend finding a holder that has a longer clamp part. This one only goes back like 1 inch and the bevel on my desk is over half an inch, so really only half the clamp is being used and thus isn't very sturdy.I looked around and found some holders that have better clamps and will try one of those out. Will definitely be returning this one though...

I love this cupholder. Due to a flood we had to consolidate pretty much everything and while the house gets repaired, etc. my home office is in our bedroom which means my desk has become a sort of “put your junk on it,” including cups and other rando-things that wouldn’t normally go on my desk. I had to put a stop to that especially with liquids because I was concerned it would spill, affecting my electronics.Introducing: CUPHOLDER!It’s absolutely perfect as you can attach via C -clamp and it can hang from the side of my desk, allowing either myself or my partner to put their drink in the cupholder far far away from any electronics it could harm.It may take a little bit of adjusting initially, because the headphone holder is connected to the same screw that attaches to the clamp. This means that when adjusting the height of the clamp to fit your desk, you will also have to adjust the headphone holder. But it’s nothing that should cause more than a moment of fiddling.I have a glass top desk and until I can get some rubber for the clamp holder to hold onto I am using cardboard (as you can see from the picture) but you may have a different solution, so it doesn’t look so ugly. The wood finish is a delightful shade. The deep cup pocket as well as the included cup handle slot are both needed and appreciated. The headphones fit perfectly on the bottom and is adjustable so you can swing the arm that holds the headphones to any side you’d like.There’s a lot of ways to mess up a clamp anything but when you add two functions, it can really go haywire quickly. This cupholder however, knocks it out of the park.

It doesn’t move. It holds only beverages of a certain diameter. It doesn’t hold my larger Tervis or Corkicle tumblers.

I have a rather small desk that I have done my best to make seem bigger by using like a monitor shelve and a organizer etc, but having a tumbler setting on the desktop does make the space smaller not to mention the sweat from the icy drinks getting on them desk pad.I decided to try this when I saw it and I am really glad that I did.It was so very easy to attach and install and i did not even need any tools other them my god given tools called my hands...-winks- One thing that i didnt notice in the description is that it has a bar appendage just under the cup holder to hang your headphones on or whatnot.Oh forgot to mention that the cup holder easily fits a general sized tumbler with quite a big bit to spare, fits my coffee mugs and anything I had tried in it. Not to mention that on one side of the cup holder is a hallowed out area so the handle of mugs or such do not interfere with the actual cup section itself

My desk is always crowded with many things so even just adding this cup holder to the side of it saved up some space on my desk - it's great for storing a drink in it and it attached to my desk super easily (I have a moving standing/sitting desk) so if you have a similar desk that can go back and forth , this is convenient because it will go with your desk up and down without a problem. I found that most standard size mugs and tumblers were able to fit in this cup holder and even mugs with handles can usually fit in the little handle space. The only mugs I haven't been able to fit in this cup holder are the super giant oversized mugs that are very wide but I would imagine those don't fit in any. other cup holders either.
