Solid box. The only issue is the adaptor plates included for the various sizes only fit the side ports and not the top port and vice a versa, the largest opening works only on the top. To use a 3/4 fitting I had to drill out the top adaptor to get a 3/4 connector mounted. It would be nice if all adaptors were interchangable.

Really appreciated the pre-punched holes for conduit connectors. The only thing i found annoying, was the fact that the door doesn't latch in the up position. I had to use a piece of duct tape to hold door up to complete assembly.

This is a great deal and is a well built heavy duty box with 14-50R Outlet that is working perfectly with my Level 2 EV Charger. I was worried because I read all about having to buy the expensive versions of the 14-50R Outlet that cost between $50 and $100 depending where you buy it. Well this works perfectly.

I bought this box after I tried the less expensive option here on Amazon and it's knockouts we're garbage. 10 minutes from box to install for thus. The ta hub plates is a great design. My only 2 requests would be removable screws for the door so installation isn't a pain and the wire screws are set up for stranded vs solid wire so you need to pay attention there. Solid buy though

Overall, this is a nice fixture at a very good price. For my application. I needed to mount it UNDER my breaker panel. Unfortunately, unlike the other predrilled holes, the hole in the top is only one size - huge. It appears to be intended for a mast head and not an offset nipple. To meet my needs, I drilled a hole in the blank plate that was supplied in that location. Not a big deal, but an unexpected surprise.Would I buy it again ? Considering the price and quality. How could I say no.Tool Tip: if you need to drill a hole in the top like I did, buy a step drill bit at Harbor Freight Tools. It is much less expensive than buying a hole saw and will get the job done just as well.
