My initial reaction when unboxing and turning these on was amazement. After some study of the buttons, which are hard to distinguish, especially in low light, I turned out the lights to make the room pitch black. I turned on the goggles and was blown away by how clearly I could see everything. There is a focus knob on the lens to sharpen the image and the digital zoom works pretty well.With these mounted on my head I found it hard to navigate, though, even in a place I'm familiar with because it feels like you are looking through a paper towel roll. The small field of view and no peripheral vision is disorienting. It also seems to be slightly magnified at the lowest setting which doesn't help either. I've included a picture I took of the view looking down at my foot (using my phone) - it is NOT zoomed in. Normally you'd see BOTH of your feet and the area around them. Now imagine trying to walk around with this view. Perhaps this is normal for NV goggles? I have a different pair that does the same thing. Either way, I found the best use for me is selective low light use or just hand held viewing.I wish the button configuration and design was better on all of these types of NV goggles. The buttons always look and feel the same which does not help you in the dark. Put the menu buttons on the side or something- away from zoom and exposure controls because it's annoying to have to just keep pressing buttons until you get what you want. Comes in a nice rigid carrying case with mounting accessories and charging cables and sd card.Overall these are great and they actually work, producing images that are clear and distinct in total darkness.

These day and night vision goggles are awesome. You can use these a few different ways. It comes with a headband and a way to attach them to hats as well. With an SD card (not included) you can even record and take pictures! They image quality can be changed to lower and higher resolutions. Zoom and focus work very well. I'm amazed that I can see in the dark very far distances. It's just really cool and fun to use. The price point I think is good for all that you get with these.

First, this is a great product. There are just a couple of things that caused me to knock 1 star off.I'll start with the positives. This comes with everything you need. It has a head strap that can connect to the goggle so you don't actually have to have a helmet. The head strap feel very similar to what the VR headsets use. The magnet on the headband keeps the googles secured when in the up position and is very easy to put up and down. The night vision works very well. I tested this out in my blackout closet, which is an interior room with no lights at all, and was able to see clearly what was around me. Is also came with a microSD card so you can record or take photos.The couple negatives are that the field of vision is a little narrow. This is not good for small confined areas as you have to look around to get a full picture. Second issue is the brightness of the screen doesn't get dim enough in my opinion. If you are looking to go from IR mode and then put the googles up it will take time for your eyes to adjust to the darkness again.
