These pole holders are built solid. The stakes were long enough for me to get it into the sand beach and have enough to hold it up well. The holders fold flat for convenient storage. I really like these for bank fishing.

They keep your rod off the sand but can’t get an angle much greater than parallel to the beach. Useless as a set rod holder. Buy a pvc sand spike if you’re looking for an actual rod holder
