Niceyrig makes fantastic products. I switch between them and Small rig depending on who has what connector I need. Niceyrig stuff is well constructed and I'm alwasys happy with it. This rNato Rail to osette mount adpater was no acception. A+

I am extremely happy with this product, I just wish it came with a screw to attach it.So on my rigging journey, I was on the hunt for this exact type of product. What I wanted was extremely simple, and the Smallrig version would have cost me another $100 to make it work the way I wanted. Even though this part is intended as an on-body attachment point for a rosette *handle*, I saw this and felt like it was the perfect EVF/encoding phone mount.As a guy who doesn't want to take his smallrig NATO clamp off of his monitor if he can help it, ever, I was worried when I read reviews that said their Smallrig clamps didn't fit this rail. I went from eagerly anticipating this part to praying that it would just fit and I wouldn't have to waste any time. But it fits! And it's perfect for my needs! I just hope niceyrig will see this and send me one or two screws, or at least start including them with any product that contains a rosette connection. Stores don't stock them, and having extra is never a terrible thing.Anyway, if you buy one, I hope that it fits like mine does, because this is such a good niche part.

As another reviewer mentioned, the NATO rail is maybe 1-2mm wider than that used by SmallRig, another major brand that I use extensively - meaning I can't use SmallRig NATO clamps with it. While that hasn't been critical for my use case so far, part of why I purchased this particular NATO rail was to use it as NATO rail, and that's not possible unless I buy some different NATO clamps now.Also, the slot inside the NATO rail is slightly wider than other NATO rails (again, e.g., SmallRig), which means that even the included standard button head screws are just *barely* wide enough to cover them. When affixing something like a monitor cage through the NATO rail using button head screws, they don't have a wide enough shoulder, so they dig into the soft aluminum of this rail and mar its finish. Initially that seems only cosmetic, but after swapping out accessories a few times, there's now enough damage to the metal to inhibit the screws from sliding smoothly in the rail.These shortcomings are unfortunate, because this is otherwise a useful, well-made, and attractive rigging accessory!

Good quality, but the slot is missing mid span support. You can't really tighten down a clamp in the middle of the bar, it just flexes inward. Niceyrig said they would look into this, I hope they follow through. I needed to make a aluminum filler to keep the dovetails apart when I clamped down. For light loads this probably won't be a problem. Also, the NATO rail dimensions need to be reviewed, excess material prevents the transfer of lever clamps from one NATO rail to another without a major adjustment, and prevents other vendor parts from fitting properly. My Camvate handle does not fit properly and cannot be used without some filing (yes, a hand file...). In fact, the lever clamp cannot be transferred from one Niceyrig rail to another Niceyrig rail. I think there needs to be an agreement on the NATO dimensions used in these applications. It would be narrow minded to think a user would only use the parts of one vendor and not mix.Bob

The NATO rail on this rosette adapter is incompatible with Smallrig clamps. This rail is a few mm wider than smallrig's. Just note if you're hacking together a camera rig like I am using several different brands. The build quality seems fine, but I've only handled it for a few minutes before realizing I had to return it.
