This part broke in my RV shower and I decided to replace it myself instead of having the rv sit at the dealership for months. Fitment was perfect and repair was simple. But, I discovered that the reason it broke was the rv needed the pass-thru hole for this widened out in the floor. As it was, the "U" part of the pipe was sitting on the edge of the floor opening. This broke because it couldn't move.
