Bought a set of 6 directly from Amazon ("sold by Amazon") in January of 2023.Spark plugs arrived in an unpadded plastic mailer, shipped across the country via USPS. 4 spark plugs were in a cardboard box (with some numbers scribbled on it in red ink for some reason), and two plugs were just floating around the bag. The cardboard boxes were all crumpled.These spark plugs are made in Thailand. The production code on the hexagon is U265 (indicating 2022 production, U is for the Thailand factory). I called NGK, and they verified that the spark plugs are genuine. However, they also told me that the plugs are very fragile, and if there is any visible damage to the packaging, they should be returned. The ceramic on these plugs can develop internal hairline cracks on impact, causing the plugs to fail prematurely.I stopped by a local parts store yesterday, and their NGK 5987 plugs are made in Japan.

I was hoping it would work for my Bimm. I originally had Bosch. Put these in, and shuddered like crazy. Checked the gap(even though pre-gapped at .044) and they were perfect. But on to the next one.** bought from seller AAutoparts1... They sent it really fast, highly satisfied. Just wished it worked for my car. Maybe it would for yours!

Replaced my original spark plugs for my 09 X5 with these and my car is running smooth as it once did. I can feel the responsiveness and power once again. No more misfire or hesitation when coming to a stop.

I bought double platinum Bosch plugs because they were a bit cheaper and it said the bosch plugs were a fit for my car. And also because I didn’t know exactly what was in my car until I took everything apart. As I started taking plugs out I realized my car had NGKs. But since I had just received the Bosch plugs I went ahead with it. I found out immediately the car (2009 BMW e90 - LCI model) developed a shudder. Sort of shivering the moment I started it up. I drove it a few miles with the hopes it would go away, but it didn’t. My car was running perfectly fine before this. I just wanted to do the coils and plugs as it had turned over 110k miles. I didn’t know if it was a faulty coil or one bad plug. I didn’t have time to fiddle with it either as I needed the car the next day. So without taking too many shots in the dark I just bought these NGK 5987 plugs. Installed them, and immediately the shudder went away and my car purred like a cat. Perfect plugs. Buy them here as they are the best price. I had to by mine at NAPA (due to time crunch) for almost $15 a plug.

Worked great! High quality plugs that smoothed my engine's rough idle and hesitation to accelerate in high gear. I changed my old plugs at 102,000 miles...wayyyy too long. I will try it at 60,000 next time. Attached is a photo of the old vs. new.

This product is OEM for my 2008 528i. Tried to use a Bosch earlier and plug failed. If NGK came out of your car use NGK as the replacemen. Runs great now. Excellent service Amazon. Thanks
