Sadly, the paper is worthless for art. Look for pads of newsprint for a better quality paper.

Perfect for my junk journaling. It’s nice to write on and make crafts with. A good large size. It does have a bit of a sheen to it.

it's newsprint, not much you can really say about it. i got these to make scraps for collage and to use for test printing with my silkscreen press and gelli plate printing. newsprint is pretty versatile art-wise, so it's good to have a lot on hand. my only complaint is that it wasn't packaged well by the seller so the edges/corners got pretty torn up and if it had been a rainy day, the whole pack would have been ruined. (i'm not talking about how amazon shipped it, i'm talking about the wrapping the seller had on it.) should have been in a firm cardboard box.

No complaints with this newsprint paper. It is what it is and the 18" x 24" size is perfect for so many things. I'm using it to wrap books before I ship them out to buyers plus the grandchildren love to draw on it. A versatile and useful package of around 500 sheets.

If you've never had the glorious experience of a whole stack of overlarge newprint paper, you're in for a treat. There are SO MANY things you can do with this kind of paper. Packing stuff, of course. Or wrapping up cookies for a friend. Or cutting out to the size of your pictures so you can tape the paper to the wall before you start nailing (paper on a roll will always curl back up, while flat sheets like this won't misbehave). Tearing into small pieces for paper mache. Or using it to wrap trim and doorknobs and drawer fronts to protect them from paint splatter -- or laying those doorknobs and handles on the paper so your driveway doesn't get sprayed, too. Or taking a potato, cutting it in half and carving one-half in a shape you want, then using your stamp to turn a sheet into your own unique wrapping paper; one sheet is big enough for a gift the size of a shoebox! Or, y'know, just putting a sheet down and drawing on it.So, so, many things!———————————————————————————————stars are based on: does it do (and is it) what the listing says/promises?5★ = exceeds | 4★ = satisfies | 3★ = minor issues | 2★ = major issues | 1★ = FAIL

I got this pack for art projects in my class. The students can draw on them and we can also use them to protect the desks and table when painting or letting paint or clay projects dry. They work perfectly for all of these things. The packaging was not great as the stack of paper is just wrapped in paper and tape inside a box and not very secure/sturdy, but this will not affect the paper being useful for what I want it for.

I've recently picked up drawing and painting as a hobby, but quickly found myself running out of paper! it's nice to have a lot of cheap paper to practice on without being too concerned if I mess it up while using the "good paper."I'll probably bring this to some art meetups with friends.
