the unlock button is positioned to allow for easy release on the Cadillac Lyriq. Other adapters had the buttons that did not clear the cover making it difficult to push to remove adapter.

We bought this item to charge our newly purchased Lexus EV to use it with our built in Tesla charger in our garage. It starts charging for few seconds & stops. We tried several times & did not work. We returned this item.

I wanted to wait to test this on a few of my friends cars for the different adapters. But I think Amazon may want me to be doing some work. IDK. Anyhow, this thing is built like a .. I don't know it is so solid, the movements of the parts are flawless. It has multiple adaptions. I don't know anymore other than it is a best and seems extremely solid. I will bring this to work tomorrow and get some tests done. I'll update.

After taking a while to move over everything that this is well suited with I determine that my automobile was once in fact well suited with it. i might virtually advocate taking a while to do the identical. so long as you do that that is a ideal healthy and will slide right over the other charger and plug in perfectly. it is all a ideal in shape and sincerely features as supposed. I were given to do this out at one of the gas stations we went to this beyond break day at the ride to my mother's they only have the alternative form of charger there but happily I had this so i was capable of without difficulty plug that in and plug it into my car. terrific person pleasant and surely can't be any simpler to apply. if you have used any charger before for an EV you can use this! This has a gorgeous robust and very heavy duty construct nice. This NACS to CCS charger adapter is a game-converting solution for CCS1-like minded EV owners, granting access to Tesla's enormous Supercharger community. With a robust strength capacity of 1000V, 500A, and as much as 250kW, this adapter ensures fast charging, making it an first-rate preference for lengthy journeys or areas in which non-Tesla speedy chargers are scarce. I grabbed this NACS to CCS adapter to help make long-trip charging of my EV faster and more efficient. I have one from another brand before that works, but it gets almost too hot to touch during fast charging. This one stood out because of its auto-locking system and smart temperature control, which helps keep the charge steady and reliable.Right away, I could tell this adapter was built well—way more substantial than my other one. The locking mechanism is very good so no worries about it unplugging mid-charge. That extra security is a nice touch, and the included case is a bonus.EV fast charging speed depends on a bunch of things—temperature, battery level, adapter efficiency, communication protocols, etc.—so I can’t give exact numbers. But from my experience, this adapter worked great both times I used it, and I didn’t notice the usual sharp drop in speed I normally experience after fast charging for a while. Again, that’s just my experience charging my EV with a half-full battery on cool spring nights, so take it with a grain of salt. I’ll update this review if anything changes.Now, the price. I like this adapter, but it’s overpriced. When I picked it up it was listed for $249.99. Currently, it is on sale for $199.99, which is better but still not cheap. There are plenty of solid alternatives, so I’d say grab this one if you can get a deal. Otherwise, check Amazon’s list of related products—you’ll probably find this adapter or one very similar to it priced for less.

Just got and used this adapter, and WOW—it’s SO much better than my old one! Charges my EV crazy fast (way quicker than I expected), and the auto-lock feature is genius! Paired with the auto-lock mechanism, I never worry about accidental disconnections. I think it’s leagues ahead of other adapters with manual locks or no locks at all.Love how it stays cool even during long charging sessions (thanks to the 3 temp sensors!), and the rugged, waterproof design is perfect for my messy, weather-heavy commute. Plus, the grip makes it easy to plug/unplug.It’s reliable, safe, and worth every cent, and I’m sure it’s the right one for my car!

There are sooo many cheap adapters out there for using your non-Tesla at a supercharger. This one is the nicest I’ve found because of the auto safety locking mechanism. There are adapters which my friends have which have no safety locking mechanism keeping the Tesla cord attached to the adapter and I would avoid those after using this one. There are also other adapters with tiny twist switches or sliding switches you manually move to secure the cord to the adapter. These seem to be ok, but don’t auto lock like this one. This adapter has a plastic tab/pin between the two DC charging pins. When the adapter is attached to the car the plastic pin gets pushed back extending the locking tab which secures the tesla cord to the adapter. The adapter easily attached and detached from the car charging port and the supercharger cord. Easy to use.

Wanted an extra adapter as we have two cars and wanted to keep one in each of the cars so we have more options when charging on longer road trips. Used this twice so far and have to say it worked great both times. Very high-quality. Would definitely recommend this.
