if you're in need of a cartridge puller for your moen faucet, there aren't many better options than this one. it's extremely well made. steel throughout, well labeled, just basically plug and play. after struggling (!) with trying to remove a stubborn 1225 cartridge with pliers for literally an hour, i thought there had to be a better way, and thankfully there is. insert this (make sure you remove the retaining clip first), engage the screw with the cartridge, twist counterclockwise, pull out. done. worth every penny

This tool is incredible. I needed to remove the cartridge from my shower plumbing and took a chance with this tool as I didn't think well enough to check what type of plumbing I had in my shower. This remover worked like a dream though and was able to replace the old leaky cartridges and get everything tight and running smooth again.
