We have metal players, so hard plastic balls are difficult to control, and they don't bounce off the walls, getting stuck frequently, especially the corners. The cork balls provide more 'grip', and they bounce a little, so do not get stuck as often. The game overall is slightly slower, and quieter, with a softer more flexible feel...great for us and highly recommended...and they aren't going to break any windows if things get wild!

These are very hard and appear to be made from particle board.

Just played with them and they have flat spots. They are a slower playing ball which is nice but they have flat spots and that sucks. For $9 I’m not trying to return them but will not buy again either.

These cork balls are easy to grip and control and are much quieter than harder, plastic balls.

Great control and less noise than the plastic balls. Sometimes I like the loud sound of the score sometimes not.
