Intake hose was very pliable and easy to manipulate which is extremely important when working in an area which has very little space for the hands to operate

Replaced an old torn boot that’s been bypassing the air filter for no telling how long. Fit and function was just like the factory piece.

Good replacement, i think it will last me a long time and since parts are getting harder to find i think i may get another as a backup should it need to be replaced again.

After recently changing the battery on my 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7L engine (123,000 mile), the ECM would not relearn the idle when the AC was on. Car would idle too low and stumble/stall at every stop sign. Since this is caused by a dirty electronic throttle body, I had to remove it and thoroughly clean it. The rubber air intake hose connecting the throttle body to the plastic air inlet tube looked to be in good shape, but when I removed it, it was very hard and deteriorated on the bottom side. This replacement hose fit perfectly. Car runs great after cleaning the throttle body.To replace just the air intake hose, remove the two 8mm bolts that hold the plastic intake tube to the intake manifold pipe (it’s called the surge tank in the Suzuki manual). This will allow the plastic pipe to move back some. Disconnect the crankcase vent hose from the plastic intake tube. Loosen the two clamps around the air intake hose. You should have just enough room to pull back the old air intake hose off of the throttle body and then off of the plastic pipe. It’s a struggle since the hose is stiff and difficult to squeeze , but it will come off.
