Replaces the following OEM part numbers: 715900614, 415129174, 420891087
Will not replace OEM part number 715900613 found on some 2019 and up models. Please verify what parts number your machine calls for before ordering by using any Can Am online parts fiche. 4x4 actuator function explained....
The actuator assembly engages the sliding collar sending power to the front differential for 4x4 to work. It does the work of engaging and disengaging the 2wd and 4wd. When your 4x4 stops functioning, this is usually the culprit.

Replaced inoperable 4wd actuator on 2009 Can Am Outlander 800r XT. Old one was filled with gearbox oil. This was plug and play. Just make sure you have the prong oriented correctly when installing. Cleaning corrosion from handlebar switch is also a good idea so you have full voltage at the actuator.

I have a 2022 xrc so the actuator did not work, but if you unbolt it and plot it in half you can use the motor side of your old actuator with the gear side of the new actuator and it works great! So it can be paired with the new machines, you just have to do a little extra work, but still way cheaper then a new actuator made to work for the machine
