I have the Nema 14-50 adapter of Tesla. The quality of this adapter is same as the adapter made from Tesla. The car shows the current is 24 A, so it’s great.

This “Westsaim NEMA 14-30 adapter” fits my Tesla Mobile Connector just like OEM, and is a good value here. It is said to have overheat protection, but also does not show any official certifications.

Works and fits well with Level 2 Tesla charger. Build quality feels good, and it's very easy to pop in and out of the charger.

I had previously purchased the westsaim NEMA 14-50 adapter for my Gen 2 Mobile Connector. In that review, I went into great detail about the different type of safety certifications and some concerns I had, but in the end I liked that one enough to purchase this NEMA 14-30 adapter to complete my set.The texture is not quite as rubbery as OEM adapter, but the build quality feels top-notch. It is actually just a hair shorter than an OEM adapter which in my opinion is nice because there’s limited space in the mobile connector zipper storage case but realistically, it’s not enough to make any difference.My overall thoughts are that this is an affordable high-quality alternative to the OEM Tesla adapter. It looks nearly identical and has a premium feel. Unless someone knew what to look for, they wouldn’t know it isn’t OEM. I was able to compare it with an OEM adapter in build quality and performance and in the end this came out as the winner simply because it’s more affordable and everything else was the same.If having the Tesla logo imposed on your adapter is requirement, order an adapter through the Tesla app. If you want an amazing and more affordable alternative, this is the one to go with.
