Order it and the top was broken on the back. Returned it for another one and the same issue happened plus broken in the front. Looking at the second one more I could see that someone else had previously returned it.

I got it for a special Easter Hunt. It looks fun and tasteful and does the job. The latch is of poor quality and should be replace. The two hinges in the back are weak too, making it delicate, not fit for children. It’s light weighted. Nice size, big, but not huge. I liked the finish colour. It looks rich. Great for remotes, keys things of that nature. As a safety box, no, no, no. Latch and back hinges are weak, like they can fall off. And, easily broken, if someone wants in. But, hinges and latch easily replaced for better ones, for everyday use. The wood looks like wood but doesn’t have the scent or touch of real wood, it does say teak which I’ve never been around.

This was such a beautiful piece to lay our Pixie to rest in. Our beautiful girl of 17 years deserved the best. This piece is of high quality and was sent quickly after purchase . Yes I am aware we used it for something it was not made for, but I was not disappointed in this decision.

Mine just arrived. The box is actually pretty sturdy and seems well made. It's gonna be perfect for housing the chocolate gold coins I will be handing out on Halloween. There is just one wrinkle for me, it didn't arrive with the lock or keys. I'll be reaching out to their customer support to see if I can get that fixed. Otherwise, lovely chest.EDIT: I contacted customer support regarding the missing lock and keys. They got back to me straight away and shipped out the missing parts. Fantastic, easy experience.

The attention to detail and the craftsmanship were outstanding. When I ordered this I was hoping for something that was decent and would work. To my surprise this is seriously high-quality. Made from solid wood great hardware included. The craftsmanship was really outstanding the joints are solid and put together very well. I can tell that somebody took some time and effort to make this chest. I must be honest I had ordered multiple and when I received this one I returned everything else. We are taking our grandkids on a cruise and wanted to do some thing pirate themed with a treasure chest that we would use each day. This is perfect! I love it so much! You will not be disappointed if you order this product. I don’t know who makes it I don’t know the people I have no relationship and I am now a customer for life. It came with a metal lock with two skeleton keys. The hinges and the handles are all made out of metal. All of the decorations on the outside are also made of metal. I have included some pictures of what we are doing with it. It looks amazing.

I got the chest to hold my late cat's toys since she passwd away recently. It did a wonderful job with holding all her toys. It's good for the price. The lock is a little janky in working but solid. I wish I had paid attention to the length dimension. It was wide and tall enough for everything except one item where the length should have been more but that's my own fault. Came fully assembled and packed well. I really like the design. Thank you.

Update: After 3 orders that came without locks, I reached out to their customercare at nauticalcove dot com email. Got a reply same day on a Sunday and the locks have been shipped out. They are working on correcting this issue, so hopefully it will be cleared up soon. I'm now pleased with this product and hope the lock is at least semi decent as far as not breaking after two uses per some reviews. Enjoy your treasure boxes, these are nice ones for the price!This is a decent box for the price. It appears pretty sturdy. The bottom is a little thinner than I'd like as i am filling it with some heavy items. The metal detailing is very thin, but its decoration, so ok. The corner reinforcement pieces don't appear to be screwed in, so I'm assuming they are glued? Hammered maybe?the handles are attached with a brad type of deal, not bolted in so I wouldnt recommend carrying it by the handles if it has any weight in it. The first box was a bit rough to the touch, needed another once over with the sander. The second one was better and I added a finishing wax and it brought out the grain amd polished nicely, just a little upgrade. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the quality of the box. It isn't high quality, but for the price it's ok.The issue with this product is that although it shows it in the photos and said it's included, there is no lock. I returned the first one and the second one came without a lock as well. I know it's not a great lock, but it's enough to keep honest people honest and small kids out, which was the goal. Because of the style, it shouldn't have just a random modern lock on it, so I'm stuck with purchasing what should have been included. It's annoying and a problem they don't seem to be fixing. So. If you don't mind paying $110 for a falsely advertised product that is otherwise decent, go ahead.
