I needed a replacement bladder after having my water pack for years. I was able to order this on (thank goodness) and it saved me over $100 from having to order another high quality Nathan water pack. I use this on my runs and when I am running half marathons. It stays put, doesn't leak and for the most part, stays cold! The water pack also does not impact the taste of the water and I'm able to clean and dry it in under 5 minutes. Love this product!

I purchased this bladder in 2022 and its going strong. Easy to fill, clean, and dry. The hose is easy to disconnect and re-attach. I'm purchasing two more to replace my CamelBak bladders which have become difficult to open and close as their plastic material aged. I'm very disappointed in the CamelBak bladder design which I had previously invested in the past. CamelBak carriers are nice, but the bladders are too difficult to open, and if not closed just right, they will leak. Other similar styles may be as good as these Nathan's, but the Nathen's work well for me so why change.

So nice to get a new hydrapak after mine finally had a leak. Love the new feature, well, new to me, the quick disconnect tube to hydrapak. I can finally fill up my 2L bag without the tubing resting on my shoulder or bending and hanging. It's tough sliding it closed at the end, but I think that's good. The plastic taste goes away fairly quick.Only 2 criticisms, opening the hydrapak opening, and connecting to your vest or bag.-Please look up online how to open it for the first time. I know I sound crazy, but I have seen online where people ripped their hydrapak trying to open! It comes very sealed and it's not obvious where to open it, compared to older hydrapaks. Just fyi.-It did not come with anything to connect to your bag/vest... I have an old Nathan bag/vest that has a ribbon loop. There isn't anything on the hydrapak to connect to the ribbon loop and hang. I just used double sided velcro. Otherwise it was perfect.

It holds enough water for my long-distance runs. The bite valve is super convenient. I can hydrate without breaking my stride, which is a game-changer for me. Overall, this hydration vest has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable option for hydration on the go.

My wife's original one started leaking. This is a good replacement, good quality. Cheaper than buying a whole new running pack (sometimes the Camelbak bags you can find for screaming deals which includes the reservoir, obviously).

Ordered it, used it once with water and it turned into this yellow looking color. Contacted Nathan support they assured me this is wrong. So I sent it back to be replaced as I thought it's a product ion problem got this instead which as you can see has the same issues.

⁃ I purchased this bladder as a replacement for the previous one I used in the Nathan Vapor Air men’s hydration vest. (Size L/XL) ⁃ It is a direct fit to the Nathan Vapor Air vest pouch at the back. ⁃ Sadly, it doesn’t come with the magnetic hose magnet that connects the hose bite valve to the vest itself on the Vapor Air. I went to the Nathan website, chatted with a representative and the representative sent me, for free, a magnet together with a hose. Thanks Nathan for standing behind your products. ⁃ It comes with calibrations and has a maximum fill line beyond/past which you can’t fill. ⁃ The clamp that closes the hydration bladder together works well and it is airtight/watertight. No leaks whatsoever from the top. ⁃ Wash the bladder with a vinegar plus lukewarm water solution the first time you use it and immediately after use, each time. Hang it to dry as I have seen people complain about mold on older hydration bladders that were not aired out properly. If you use colored fitness fluids eg Gatorade, hydration solutions, clean and rinse it immediately after running/use as the bag will start discoloring/adopting the color of the drink/solution. ⁃ I have used it in 2 full marathons and 3 long training runs and it has performed well. I hope that it shall last long. ⁃ The bite valve works perfectly. After using another bite valve from another hydration bladder that leaked after a few uses, I appreciate how easy it is to use the Nathan bite valve. You don’t have to twist it regularly to get the right amount of fluids coming out. ⁃ It has a quick disconnect tube that ‘feels right’ when you are connecting or disconnecting the tube/hose from the bladder. ⁃ Since I wash and rinse it of its contents after every use, I am able to use different fluids and not taste them after switching them between runs on different days. The taste doesn’t linger like it does on many plastic items. (But you have to wash and rinse it first.)
