This 150mm dessicator has a transparent unbreakable polycarbonate cover with an exclusive recessed-rim design. The body is made from durable blue polypropylene which is impervious to all solid desiccants. A 140mm aluminum plate is included. I've done a lot of work with bulky glassy dessicators, and they are a pain. I use them to either store dried materials or exposing materials to humidity in ovens. This one is lightweight and easy to put in ovens. Taking the lid off can be tricky because there isn't a good handhold, and the content can get knocked over when the seal brakes.
