Bought for my daugter for Halloween. Size does run a little small.which wasn't a problem for my daugter due to her being on the petite side.very well Mads. And looks very nice.i did take us a min to figur out how the straps went but other than that easy to put together.

I wear a Medium, so I chose the S/M. Unfortunately, did not fit, way too tight in places and did not fit my upper torso. The whole set is cute and great for playing a maid. So, make sure you get a large if you are petite 6. The seller sent me a Large and all is good. It is very cute on and is a great addition to my dress ups. It is made better than most of the others you find in shops.

This is a classic French maid costume with quite a few pieces. The base dress is a black knit, not too shiny, and has a back zipper. The crossover white apron, made of a crisp white cotton-y fabric, is embellished with black trim and ties in the back. There are black stockings provided, as well as two ruffled garters (I've only shown one), two white cuffs that button at the wrist, a ruffled throat choker, a package of black bows, a ruffled "cap" on a white hairband, and (ick) a very plain pair of tiny panties. I think if you're going to include panties, they should look better than this. Either leave them out or supply something lacy and nice. If I were actually wearing this costume, I'd go with my own lace panties and a garter belt. The dress and apron are pretty well constructed. The deep squared neckline makes for a very narrow shoulder strip by the puffed, ribboned sleeve--some might need a bit of sticky tape to keep the shoulder from slipping down. A push-up bra without straps would probably be wise. The skirt of the dress has moderate folds and fullness, falling mid-thigh, and looks just a bit blah. If you wanted a bit more oomph, you could puff out the skirt with a short petticoat beneath (I'd suggest white), both to provide volume and shorten the hemline, for a more classic sexy maid look. The wrist cuffs measure about 8" and fit me fine--you could always move the buttons or use an extender if they are too tight. The cuffs are more Playboy than realistic--the historical maid's dress that inspired the perennially popular costume did not have cuffs for the bare wrist. The ruffled choker fits easily with a velcro closure, and the two garters, with black ribbons, are elasticized to slip up to, well, wherever. The white ruffled maid's "cap" is slipped over a white plastic hairband. It's pretty stark in contrast to dark hair, but you can replace the white band with one that more closely matches your hair. Overall, it's a pretty nice costume that can easily be customized to fit the look you're going for. For me, a Halloween doll and prop-maker, a French maid's costume has only one first, best destiny: a zombie maid, so that's what I'll be doing with this costume. (Right after burning those ugly panties). Needless to say, this is a costume appropriate ONLY for adults, not for anyone under 21. Well, unless you're going as a zombie--then I say, sure! My daughter wears a small, so when this said s/m, I thought for sure it would fit. She tried to zip up the back of the black dress herself and ended up making a hole at the bottom of the zipper because it’s too tight. The hole is about an inch long. I was able to zip it up more but unable to zip it all the way up. It stayed open at the top about an inch. The look is adorable when it’s on. The sleeves can either be worn up or down around the shoulders. After she put the apron on and tied the bow at the back, it pretty much hid the hole in the back. The apron added an extra nice look to the outfit. It also comes with a headband, white cuffs, garters, chokers, thigh high stockings and three black mini bows. Every accessory fits well, except the stockings are very thin and don’t stay up very well, but the outfit is already a great deal without the stockings. It looks super cute on and is a step up than the standard Halloween costumes found at the stores.

Don't confuse this with the "sexy" French Maid outfit that is not the purpose of this costume. This is for Cosplay and for that purpose it's perfect. The quality is excellent, and the design/style is perfectly accurate.Size also was faithful to the description and exactly what was expected. I was advised that the fit was comfortable and could easily be worn for hours.The one comment that was provided to me, while my wife was trying it on, was that without a picture to follow it was difficult to determine how the apron would be worn. Her suggestion was to include, in the packaging, a picture of what the costume looks like when worn, which would be a huge help. Had the picture been there this would have gotten a 5star rating

Well made, fit is accurate in every way if you measure yourself properly (but you have to do it proper, not many do). No tears, off stitching, off seams. Cleans easily too so far.Comes with a few bows, cuffs, stockings, etc. that are all welcome additions. However the real thing I noticed is that for the price this is WAY better than expected. You get SO MUCH compared to what I thought you would. Apron, and underdress alone are worth the price. Looks about as close as you can to my friend Nagi and her maid cafe outfit she has, minus an under skirt piece.Big recommend from me. Wife liked trying it out too, wants to try a cosplay in it now.
