Compared to my 3c this is very deep, gives a wonderful dark tone and classic look to silver trumpets but not great for high notes. It does need a little polishing every now and then but a good wipe down works too

I bought this in a whim because of the price. Turns out it’s a decent little mouthpiece. The tone is very round with it but you do lose volume due to its mass. I would buy it again.

Very comfortable and plays easy. I'm not sure about the dimensions, but I like it. It responds great and I can push the upper range pretty comfortably (double high G, anyway). Not bad for the price.

Overall, this is a good, solid mouthpiece for the price. I'm not a big believer in the "megatone" concept--that the heavier mouthpiece transmits more of the player's lip vibrations into the instrument, but it's definitely a serviceable mouthpiece.As far as I can tell, this does not have the same dimensions as the "standard" 1.5c mouthpiece, but I don't have another 1.5c to compare it with. My understanding is that a 1.5c should be a slightly bigger cup size than a 3c, but it felt like a smaller cup with a wider rim. If you know the dimensions you're looking for, I'd measure that mouthpiece against the ones in the description of this before ordering.

What I Like: Not just beautiful and bright in appearance, but clear, beautiful, and bright in tone and projection. Nice heft to it, so my trumpet feels more balanced in my hands. I got it to try it on my C trumpet and loved it, so now I'm going to buy another one for my Bb trumpet. Can't beat the price. This looks like the almost $300 Monette Ajna mouthpiece.Dislike: Shipping takes a few weeks, but arrives sooner than their estimate. That's just a comparison from someone who has gotten used to most items arriving next day to within a week.
