As a Quilter pressing my fabric is very important. This wool pad is a great size for large pieces of fabric. Wool hold the heat and make nice crisp fabric. Anyone needing to iron bigger items, I would recommend this item.

Did anyone else come with straw and white hair worked into the fibers and feel rough? this would cause sores if put on horse.I was very unimpressed. It going back, it looked used. I bought it as a pressing pad, but would not use on my horse either.

i cut it in half and it fits perfectly on my custom sized ironing board. It's a wonderful felted wool. I highly recommend this the seller shipped it fast, too!

I use this for pressing fabric for sewing and quilting. It works great! It does have a smell to it but it’s not that bad

Like many others I used it as a pad for my ironing board. It is a small table top one and there was enough to cover a nearly standard sized one. It's perfect and I already have forgotten hitting those annoying rivets. There is no smell.

Ich muss sagen ich bin Englisch Reiterin und hab das Päd eigentlich für meinen Fellsattel gekauft :)Nachdem ich dort so begeistert war habe ich tatsächlich noch 3 gekeauft und eine Ecke abschnitten Quer gelegt passt es Perfect unter meine VS Sättel ...Endlich eine Sattelunterlage die Polstert und keinerlei Scheuerstellen (Steife Borten) hat...Ich Reite Nur noch damit !Super einfach sauber zu machen ... Einfach mit der Wurzelbürte ein wenig abbürsten ...Trocknet schnell auch wenn Pferdchen mal wieder durch schüttenden Regen trotten musste ....Die Beste Satteldecke/Päd das ich für meine Ponys finden konte ...Danke an den Hersteller für so ein Vielseitig einsetzbares super Funktionelles Päd :)

I use this for a pressing mat as I am a quilter. It is of great quality, large enough to make into smaller pieces, and while some shared that it has a smell, I did not notice after a few uses. I would recommend this product.

The mat was a great price and I cut one large mat and 4 smaller ones from it. My iron has been getting sticky and a friend who I sent a smaller mat to has had the same problem. The mat may have something in it that is melting on the iron. I might cover it with something like a pillowcase. It makes a big difference ironing quilt blocks. If you want to iron on it, you may want to buy one made for ironing, not for horses.

It is a huge square of wool to iron on. It is wool so I don't use a lot of steam else it smells like wet wool - just like the 'quilters' grey pads. The little very expensive 'quilters' grey pads are fine to take to a class, but when you need to do a lot of ironing (think completed top or lots of HST all out in front of you) this is perfect for the job! It lays flat - I put a bunch of magazines on it as it was folded for shipping - did the job & it is flat flat flat now. Brown color is not obnoxious, but brown is not grey if your quilt/sewing/craft room cares. I would buy this again in a heart beat!
