The muslin is a good thickness level for summer. It’s not see through but still breathable. The hoop made it easy for me to see my baby while nursing. The D rings stayed put and kept the neck strap at a good spot for me. I wish the sides were a bit longer; I had to adjust on each side to feel truly covered. This last comment is pretty personal to me, but the color of this cover is very close to my skin tone. My husband mentioned that he thought I was nursing without any cover from a distance.

This is a must have if your baby likes Muslin. This is lightweight which most covers are not and it's great for any baby that loves the muslin feel. I love the rounded top so you can look down at the baby which makes it superior to the muslin blanket that we have had to use when it's just a bit too hot for us. This is definitely a go-to cover.

The Generic Muslin Nursing Cover is made of a lightweight, soft muslin fabric. The neck strap is adjustable and allows you to move the cover to where you need it to be. It is nice that it is designed without having too much fabric around the neck. It is helpful to be able to bring the cover up high where you need it to be, but still allows you to see the baby and help them nurse. Overall, it is a nice lightweight cover.

I love this muslin nursing cover made out of 100% cotton. It is soft and lightweight which helps because baby and mom get so warm while nursing especially when covered up. The neutral tan color is pretty and can be gifted at a baby shower for a boy or a girl. The top has a stiff material that allows you to look down and see baby while nursing and it still gives you privacy. This is a very nice nursing cover and would be appreciated by any new mom!

I ordered two nursing covers at the same time. One is poncho style and made of viscose, and the other is this muslin cover. I like this one SO much better. It’s infinitely more breathable and folds up very small so it’s easy to transport. I love how simple and easy to adjust the loop mechanism is, and that the top neckline is structured so I can see baby. Overall, very well designed and constructed with no loose threads that I can see. Plus, the color is such a lovely, stylish neutral. I can see myself using it as a stroller or car seat cover in the summer. Would order again!!As somewhat of an aside, I also really appreciated the packaging. The box was well designed and extremely easy to open. Just one less hassle for busy moms!

Muslin Nursing Cover – Reviewed March 2025.I was drawn to the Muslin Nursing Cover because it features an adjustable strap that wraps securely around your neck, which is perfect for preventing slips. The material is incredibly breathable, ensuring my newborn stays cool underneath, and the neutral sand color is beautiful. However, the design could use some tweaks. The plastic piece designed to hold the cover out for visibility is frustrating; it pops out too far and feels awkward, especially when sitting in public areas like a restaurant. Plus, the button on the back strap popped off during my first use, which was disappointing. Despite these hiccups, it's a good quality cover and I appreciate its durability, but ultimately, I wouldn't buy it again due to the impractical top design. My daughter didn't seem comfortable, and it felt hotter than expected during use.I might try repurposing it as an apron and if not that - it will make a great cleaning cloth.

A nursing cover, to me, is essential! If you plan to nurse in public with privacy or just need to let the child have some privacy at home, you need this cover!Washes well. I liked to wash mine on a cold, gentle cycle and then air-dry.The unique band at the top allows air in, eyes out, yet you as Mom can see what is going on. The lightweight muslin which is so popular now, is great- very breathable.The only thing I wish that could be changed is the packaging. I wish it were a bit more beautiful for gift giving. But oh well, it is a wonderful cover, and any nursing Mom would love one. No more pulling the blanket down by little hands and exposing yourself!Oh- about forgot- the neck is adjustable- with one hand!Here is what another Mom told me: " Breathable! This is so much cooler and breathable than the polyester nursing covers I have used. The flexible bar at the top allows me to see my baby, and Baby can see me, without the world seeing all of me, especially if Baby is off and on the breast. I had a cotton one years ago, but it was smaller and shorter. This cover provides ample coverage. "That says it all!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Worth every dollar!

My wife been using this Muslin Nursing Cover for a few weeks now, and it's a definite improvement over the traditional, less breathable covers. She appreciates how modest it is; it provides good coverage without making me feel completely closed off. The muslin fabric is soft and, most importantly, doesn't get too hot for the baby, which was a big concern for me.She tried using it while she had a small personal fan blowing, which was great for keeping her and baby cool, but the cover did billow a bit. She'll need to find a way to secure the sides better if she want to do that regularly.Overall, this nursing cover is a decent product. It's lightweight, portable, and offers better breathability than the original covers I've used. She thinks the product is worth 4.5 stars, but will round it up to 5 here.
